I gave birth at 11:20pm last night. I held onto Gaib for support.
My water broke and instantly my already heavy contractions began pushing Mia out. I only had to push three times, then there was an explosion of what i believe to be amniotic fluid, then Mia crowned and two seconds later she was out.
i watched as they prepared to present her to me. Gaib collapsed on top of me in grief. They were having a hard time getting the placenta out, but then i vomited and the force of that brought the placenta out.
then they handed me my Mia. The cause of death was that she had been caught up in her umbilical cord and strangled to death.
they handed her to me in a soft, pink striped blanket with a knit cap on her tiny head. i couldn't hold her very long. staring into that little dead face that was so beautifully a mix of me and gaib.. my already broken heart.. shattered even more. i handed her to gaib and he cradled her in his arms. it was bitter sweet.
