At the end of 2005, Gaib enlisted in the U.S. Army and works in Black Hawk System Repair.
In Feb of 2007 he married his long time friend Shauna.
Things have not been easy in our friendship. After Mia died, things came to light that were very ugly and over the course of two years, Gaib and I fought hard with each other. In the end things worked out for the best and we are back on friendly terms. Both of us agree that our love for Mia has made us better people. She has changed us in so many ways. Our love for her has kept us together through all these hard times and despite the fact that so many bad things happened.. I am glad he was her father.
