My Star

You are my star, you shine so bright
You're in the depth of my soul
I still feel the warmth of your light
On the coldest, dark nights
You're always with me, You're a part
You reached out your hand
Touched my heart
As I awake each morning
For you I'm yearning
I jump from my bed
With thoughts of you going through my head
A smile appears 
Things you've said, I hear
For you I've cried, lots of tears
I need and want you near
I want to be by your side, the rest of my years
Until my time is done, I want you to be my only one
Doesn't matter what we choose to do
As long as I'm doing them with you
