Desires
There you are, early in the day
When I see you, On your way
There's so many things, I want to say
I'm so ordinary, plain as seen
I don't wear satin or frills of lace, like a queen
Tee-shirts, tops and jeans
No makeup on my face
Oh but when I see you, my heart does race
I long to touch you, be held in your embrace
To feel your gentle touch
Your lips, I long to be kissing
You're all I need, you're all that I'm missing
As you pass by, I notice your glance
I turn to hide, keeping all I feel locked inside
I'm wishing, I could have a chance
To reveal, all that I feel
In my mind I've created, A perfect life so real
A love so deep and true
For all of my life, I will love you
