Blessed

When we met, I felt blessed
An angel, you opened my heart
Filled it with happiness
Love, that shall never part
When I'm down or feeling weak
It's your tenderness that I seek
The understanding words, you speak
Lift my spirits, Helps me find my way
You're the one, I need in my life each day
You always make me feel at ease
I feel free, can say anything I please
When I close my eyes, It's your face I see
I long for our love to be real, a reality
So I can look into your eyes, Touch your sweet face 
Reach out for your hand, feel your embrace
When I open my eyes, to see you there
Have you close, to show you how much I care
I long to be the one whom, you wholly share
