Meet our sweet baby, Tyler

Here are the very first pictures we got of Tyler...look at how quickly he grew!

A closer look at the 14 week ultrasound. Look at our sweet guy's perfect profile!

Here is the only picture we really took of me pregnant. I am 17weeks along in this picture. I was just starting to love my "baby belly"

This picture was taken very early the morning that Tyler was born. You can take one look at it and tell that I don't feel good. I was already in labor but didn't know it.

Here is the only picture we have of Tyler after he was born. The shock and grief we were experiencing was too great and we didn't think to take any more pictures. This one isn't the best because of the flash from the camera and how it reflected on his skin. You can see how tiny he was though... tiny and perfect. The red on his legs was caused by a hemmorage after he died.

This picture is just a close up of the other one. I made it black and white for my stepson, Cory, so that it wouldn't seem quite so scary to him. He really wanted a picture of his little brother. I honestly wish we had thought to take more pictures though. That is one of my regrets.

We received this plant from my mom a few days after Tyler was born/died. It is very special to us because it was the first memento that we were given to remember our little boy by. We call it the "Tyler plant" and give it lots of attention.

These roses were sent to me by Sean the day after Tyler's one month anniversary. He planned to send them earlier but had to special order them. They are the same type of roses that Sean gave to me on my birthday, the day Tyler was conceived. They were just the thing I needed for Tyler's anniversary!

Sean took this picture of me standing by the roses. You can see that I've lost my baby belly that I was so proud of. It has been a hard month. I pray it gets easier to endure.

This page will include other pictures of memorials to Tyler as time passes. We have plans to plant a memorial garden in our yard and we are talking about getting Tyler a tree in the local arboretum. Please check back later to see more pictures.
