When I was about 2 years old my Aunt gave me a Jammie pies doll for Christmas, and I was immediately hooked on it! When I was younger I had to take her absolutely everywhere with me and not knowing where she was pretty much seemed like the end of the world. I have the version of the doll named Pittipin, but mine is named Katy doll.  Nowadays shes pretty worn out, her facial features are worn away, her colors are faded, her clothes are falling apart and I've sewn her up quite a few times, she also doesn't have her original hands.  It's really hard for me to imagine what my childhood would have been like without her, and now when I look at her I don't even see an object, I see an extremely familiar part of me.  I still refuse to let her sit in my closet to this day-- though I don't need her to sleep like I used to she still sits out-- no matter how dorky it may seem!  We've been through a ton together, I've left her at Walmart, dropped her in the toilet, you name it! and I'm sure that I'll keep her forever.
