JP(you call his kind spunkles) and I met roughly around my birth in 1987. Since then, we were inseperable. As a kid, i used to take him everywhere. We'd sit on the bed and chat, go into space on my bunkbed (if you lock your feet in the top bunk rails it's like the old space capsules), parachute off the deck, go hunting for treasure, what not. Even as i grew older, JP became part of the family. Where we went, he went. He moved with us too. Mexico, England, China, he was never far from me. Even family pics sent to me at boarding school had JP somewhere.

Even now, these memories have placed JP in my lap, much to my embarrased smirk and my mother's squeal of delight. Both of us 19 now, and he can still sit in my lap.

Sadly, JP will not be following me into the Army this month, as he is 4F(clouds in his eyes) and would probably not make it to the probable hostile desert reigon of my deployment, particularly since I chose to be an Infantry Scout. However, JP will undoubtedly (through my mother) send me a letter, over there.
