They are paid on a hourly basis with multiple bonuses opportunities.
Though most interns work about 40 hours a week. Enterprise will accomodate summer school schedule as well as offering the possibility to work more than 40 hours/week (you have to pay for those school books somehow!).
Interns will not be glorified gophers but will be expected to work with and just as hard as other employees.
The skills learned during an internship include: customer service, scheduling/organizational skills, basic profit/losses as well as accounting functions of a business and inventory control. Communication and marketing are also some of the skills that will be learned.
These skills can apply for both working at Enterprise or any other company.
