My Dive In Tour Review
May 2nd
Id waited for this day to come for a very long time, and when i awakened on the friday i couldnt have felt any worse.
So i stayed in bed, to get ready for what was going to be the night of my life.
I arrived in glasgow at the armadilo and me and my mum went straight in and took our seats. The support act Peppercorn came on around 8pm and played around 5 or 6 songs, which werent all that bad. There was a couple which stood out as being alot better than the others.
The the interval arrived and me and my mum made our way out, so i could buy myself a t-shirt or rather my mum could buy me a t-shirt. On the way back to our seats we bumped into Jeaj, Vaz and Pam from
www.dariusdevotees.com who we stood and chatted to before making our way back in for darius's debut date in glasgow.
Then the countdown began with the help of the background music to mercury rising, with a voice saying "Tonight's performance will start in 5 minutes" and so on until only one minute to go. Then the music to sliding doors started, the curtain fell and darius came running towards the front of the stage.
The cheers were soooooooo loud as darius was hip-swinging and body-shaking. he went on to sing loads of songs each one as amazing as the one before. the setlist was:
Sliding doors
Better than that
Mockingbird
Bottylicious
Faith
Like I love You
Gotta know tonight
Simple like the truth
Rushes
Kiss ( as in Tom jones)
Mercury Rising
Girl In the moon
In not buying
Incredible
Dive In
Ive got you under my skin
Colourblind ( with a bit of Hot In Herre)
My hightlight of the evening was definelty Mercury Rising, Mockingbird and Colourblind.  The best outfit of the evening was the kilt (of course) which looked very nice.
Darius seemed very happy to be home, and the concert was amzing even though i was ill through it all.
May 3rd
This show was the maintee, and i wasnt supposed to be going but was offered a ticket free. Mr and Mrs Danesh had given tickets to another fan heather who couldnt make it, so me and Claire got to go instead.
I arrived at the armadilo about 2pm and went round the back to meet claire and varius other devotees. We waited for about 30 minutes then Darius car pulled up and out he got, he signed my banner which said "kiss my other ear darius" he didnt stay long just a quick hello and signed for people then he headed into the venue.
Me and claire made our way inside to get the tickets from the box office and bumped into Mr and Mrs Danesh while we were there.
Once inside we found our seats which were on the flat row Q, which gave us a great view.
Again Peppercorn performed and then darius appeared again, and the crowd went wild. He sang the same setlist but it was even better than the night before, Kiss was my favourite cover song he sang but i think that was due to the dancing that went with it. But encore of Colourblind/Hot in herre cauz it brought back alot of memories of the saturday show.
The time flew by and before i knew it was over and i was on the train back to Polmont.
May 4th
I arrived in Edinburgh with my friend Fiona and we went to Pizza Hut before heading to the Playhouse. When we went in we went straight to our seats which were on the balcony 2nd, row and we had a great view of the stage. Peppercorn came on again, we stayed for a couple of songs but left as i'd already heard her twice and i was wanting a programme, but fiona bought me a photo to as a thank u, for giving her a ticket to come with me.
We  headed back in with drinks and a huge bag of giant smarties, which we ended up spilling all over the floor...oops. Darius soon appeared looking as happy as ever, as he sang sliding doors, some people in the circle stood up and we told to sit down much to the anger of alot of others, we were being told we werent allowed to stand up. But into a few songs Darius asked everyone to get of the seats and onto their feet, so we all did and there was nothing the secruity could do, do make us sit down. The show was amazing, but i expected nothing less. There was a surprise though at the end of the concert in an extra song "All the small things" by "Blink 182." it was one of the best songs of the night, everyone was jumping around and Darius did a great job of singing it.
it was soon over, and we went round the back to see if we could catch him on his way out, we say karl and the rest of the band leave, then we headed to a different exit and waited, but before he came out we had to start making our way to the train station otherwise we would have missed the last train home, but we did see his people carrier pass us.
the concert couldnt have been better, i loved every minute of it
