Darius, from Bearsden, near Glasgow, releases his debut single, Colourblind, on July 29th. He claims that he's had six serious girlfriends - and that he's still friends with all of them.
It's hardly surprising, given the lengths he'll go to impress them. Whe he was 14, Darius cut off his long eyelashes because joking pals told him his sweetheart didnt like them.
He reveealed "When i went to school the next day, my girlfriend was distraught. She said 'Oh, Darius what have you done? I loved your eyelashes'."
So the determined Popstars and Pop Idol hero found his lashes in the bin.... and posted them to his girlfriend.
