Darius gets his kit off....Again
John Dingwall Exclusive
DARIUS Danesh has again proved he is a true scotsman - but this time without his kilt.
The singer strikes a cheeky pose in nothing but a Scotland jersey to show his support for his national team as they take on Germany today.
But at least he has a strategically placed footlball to spare his blushes this time.
He mistakenly showed off his ball skills during his concert at the Clyde Auditorium when he knelt down while wearing the kilt.
Back in Scotland after a sell-out tour, Darius 22, is looking foward to a good show from Berti Vogts'boys today.
He saId "There is bound to be a niggle in the game as Berti is German and the German coach, Rudi Voller, used to work for him."
"Both have enormous experience, so anything could happen - and Scotland are always at their best when they appear to be down and out."
"For moral and ego's sake, their is a tension there already. This has all the makings of a memorable match."
"We should never write Scotland off. Im certainly hoping we can pull off a shock result."
The strapping pop star, from Bearsden, Glasgow says he loved the beautiful game during his youth.
He said: "That was the best part of being at school, kicking a ball around the playground at lunchbreak."
Darius, whose single Girl In The Moon is out on Tuesday, also spoke for the first time about his gig mishap.
The record switchboard was jammed with fans asking us to print the raunchy photo, rather than the sanitised version.
"I was obviously the victim of a clever photographer as i had angled myself so that there was no way the crowd could see anything. I'm always a true scotsman but i had been warned to wear briefs as another band on the bill, Triple 8, had threatened to lift up my kilt on stage."

BIG-Headed Darius Danesh is thinking of writing a sex book to rival the karma sutra.
The 22-year-old says: "I feel like i am at my sexual peak right now. I am single, but that doesnt me to say i dont enjoy myself with girls."
"I don't do one-night stands, but you can still get physical with someone - you just dont have to go the whole way."
Thats too much detail, love.

Smaller Than Life
The Orange Prize for fiction last week where diary bumped into Glaswegian, one-time Britney enthusiast and Pop Idol wannabe Darius. With three top 20 singles under his belt, young Darius says he feels well qualified to publish his life story.

A Charmer with substance
DARIUS POPPED into the studio this week to perform his new single Girl In The Moon.
He has charm by the bucket-load but is also a very bright young man.
Darius could have come out of
Pop Idol and released a cover of It's Not Unusual, probably with a cheesy video featuring women throwing their knickers at him.
Yes, he'd probably have had a no.1 hit but that would have been the end.
Instead, he has written and performed his own hits gone on tour and even been a support act for Shakira.
A movie career is in the pipeline and he'd be a natural TV presenter if he ever fancied giving it a go.
On the same morning Darius was in, we had actor Jeff Goldblum in the studio.
Famous for movies like
The Fly and Jurassic Park, he's the only person ive ever met taller than Darius. When they met in the corridor it was like being in an episode of Land Of The Giants.
For all you single girls out there who wouldnt mind dating Darius, don't foget your stepladders.
