Since it was such a long day, ive decided to post it by what happened at various times (makes it easier for me). |
|
|
|
|
|
4.30am - i get up and ready, creeping around trying not to wake up the rest of the family. |
|
|
| 6.00am - my friend fionas mum comes to pick me and we drive into Falkirk. |
|
|
| 6.20am - me and fiona arrive at the site, and make our way to the stage, there are already about 10 people waiting so we sit down and prepare to wait. |
|
|
| 7.00am ish - we head to toliets, and i manage to step in a huge puddle on the way, causing the inside of my trainers to become soaking.........what a great start. We now move to the other side and manage to be nearer the middle of the stage now. And began our long wait. |

|
|
9.45am - phone starts to ring, its vaz , i give her a wave and she and the other devotees come over to join us. |
|
|
| 11.00am - i spot joe and dan from toploader at the back of the stage (i think im the first in the audience to notice). thye come on and do a rehersal of there songs, its gets the crowd in the spirit of things. |
|
|
| 11.30am - great, i feel rain, its only a little but the weather doesnt look too good. |
|
|
| 12.00pm - the little rain turns to very heavy rain and before long im soaked right through. |
|
|
| 12.30pm - fiona decides to put her brolly up, only to find out that it isnt waterproof, but it doesnt make much difference we are soaked right through anyway, but the music starts well some vidoes are shown on the screens, so it starts to get the crowd ready for the real thing. |

| 1.30pm - more videos are being played and sugababes come on and reherse one song. and soon after Nemone was on and warming up the crowd, well for about 5 mins, some more videos were shown and then......... |
|
|
| 2.00pm - And the show goes out live, and JamieTheakston appears in a kilt and runs through who is going to be performing, darius gets a mention and the crowd goes wild, including me jamie doesnt look impressed at all. but anyway, toploader kick the concert off and sing 3 songs, then its sugababes with another 3 songs and then sophie ellis bextor. |

| 3.00pm - OMG darius makes an appearance and he's in a kilt, the crowd go wild and he looks very happy indead. He sings colourblind and i scream my head off, he says thank u to the crowd alot, and then the band disappear and darius starts to sing "time of my life" and there isnt a dry eye in the park, he looks soooo happy and is crying himself. He finishes and the crowd go wild for him and he goes off stage. |

| 3.15pm ish - Vas and the rest of the devotees leave but me and fiona stay to see blue, who are good, but not as good as darius. |
|
|
| 4.00pm - the concert has finished and me and fiona try to make our way out of the park along with 30, 000 others. we come across a mud puddle or mud river as its more like, which we have to cross, in oreder to get out of the park, by this time im covered in mudd and am soaked right through. |
|
|
|
4.15pm - on the way out of the park, we come a across a guy selling huge darius posters, so fiona pays for one, for me, since my purse is in the bottom of my bag, and we head for the train. |
|
|
| 4.20pm - we get to the train station and its mobbed, we have to queue on the bridge, but a train comes and the police pile everyone on, and soon enough we arrive in polmont. |
|
|
| 4.30pm ish - my dad arrives to take us home fromthe station and its the end to a great day. |
