God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You

Can this be true?

Tell me, can this be real?

Chris stood in a dark room reading over a spell. He had been reading for hours trying to find something useful against the charmed ones and their whitelighter. He knew if he went after him by himself he would be destroyed easily. They had killed warlocks

and demons much stronger than him. Suddenly Chris came upon a page that caught his eye.

“Hmmmm this is perfect.” Chris announced ripping the page out. He smiled as his plan came into view.

Piper lay on her bed in Leo’s arms. She smiled tracing Leo’s face. He was still sleeping but she had been up for a while thinking. It was a few months after Leo had forgiven her. Things had gotten better. Piper was happy that things where getting back to

normal. She had hated those long days without seeing Leo. Leo’s eyes flickered and he awakened. He smiled as he saw Piper staring at him.

“Morning.” He greeted as they kissed.

“Sleep well?” Piper asked running her hands through his hair.

“Yep you?”

“Yep.”

“I could stay her forever.” Leo sighed.

Piper looked over to the clock and realized she had slept in late.

“Hmmm as much as I wanna stay here I have a club to open.” Piper announced lifting herself up. Leo pulled her back down.

“Come on call in sick you’ve been working to hard.” Leo said stroking her hair.

“I would love to but I have four people to feed and a bills to pay. Besides there’s a 50% chance that you’ll get called today.” Piper replied.

“Yeah but there’s a 50% chance that I won’t get called.” Leo answered with a smirk.

“Let me up. You can come to the club with me if you want.”

“Well I guess that’s better than nothing.” Leo replied letting Piper up.

“Lets take a shower.” Piper announced with a smile.

A half-hour later Piper and Leo headed downstairs to find Prue and Phoebe having some breakfast.

“Morning Piper, Leo.” Prue greeted not looking up from the morning paper.

“Sleep well?” Phoebe asked as the two sat down.

“Yep.” They both said in unison.

“That’s good. Aren’t you two gonna have breakfast?” Prue asked noticing that only Pheebs was eating.

“We’re late. We’ll see you guys later.” Piper announced as she pulled Leo out the door.

“Bye bye.” Phoebe called after them.

“Well I have to get to a photo shot.” Prue said putting down the paper. “Do you need a ride anywhere?” She asked.

“Nah I have a class later I’ll get there.” Phoebe replied.

“Alright bye.” Prue said giving Phoebe a kiss on the forehead.

“See yeah.”

A little while later Piper and Leo arrived at the club. Leo was stocking stuff while Piper went over the bills. Leo was a little disappointed he wanted to be at least in the same room. But Piper was in her office while he was in the stock room. Suddenly Leo heard the call of the elders. He put down the supplies he had in his hand and headed for Piper’s office.

“Piper I have to go.” Leo said as he opened the door.

“Ok hun thanx for the help.” Piper replied getting up and kissing him.

Leo then orbed out and Piper went back to her work.

Meanwhile back at the manor Phoebe was getting very bored waiting for her class.

“I’ve already been through the TV all my magazines now what?” Pheebs wondered. “Maybe Piper needs some help at the club. I can walk down and help her out.” Pheebs got up from her spot on the couch and headed for the door.

“Hmmm it’s a beautiful day.” Phoebe said to herself as she looked up. There where no clouds in the sky. The sun just shined brightly to the earth below.

Phoebe could see P3 in the distance. It was on the other side of the road so she decided to cross here. It was one way on this street and there was less traffic here. Phoebe looked to the left to where the traffic would be coming and found it clear. She

stepped out onto the street. Just then a car flung onto the road going way over the speed limit. Pheebs didn’t even see it since it was going the wrong way. Suddenly she felt the impact hit her. She fell to the ground and darkness followed.

At P3 Piper was still hard at work. It was hard getting her work done with all the police sirens around.

“There must have been an accident.” Piper muttered to herself. Suddenly the door to her office flung open.

“Chris!” Piper gasped recognizing the man who had screwed everything up with her and Leo.

“Miss me sweetie.” He sneered throwing Piper with telekinesis. She hit a cabinet that was used to store stuff. It shattered as she hurled into it. Piper felt pain go through her body as she fell unconscious. Chris grabbed her limp body and blinked out with her.

Hours later Prue arrived home. She was dead tired from her photo shot and just wanted to plop down on her bed. Prue entered the kitchen expecting to see her

sisters chatting and eating dinner as they always did. To her surprise nether one was there.

“Piper Phoebe!” Prue yelled but got no reply.

She headed upstairs to their rooms and still found nothing. She then checked the attic but again no one was home.

“Where is everyone?” Prue asked herself as she went downstairs.

Prue jumped as the phone started to ring. “That must be then.” She muttered to herself going over and picking it up. “Piper Phoebe you guys scared me to death next time let me know if your not gonna be home.” Prue started, but was shocked to find

a voice she didn’t know.

“Hello sorry this is nether Piper or Phoebe. Is Prue Halliwell there?” The man asked.

“This is she. Who is this?” Prue replied she was getting a bad feeling.

“I’m afraid your sister has had an accident.” The voice answered.

“What! Your joking right.” Prue yelled hoping this was some kind of sick joke.

“No I’m sorry but it is true. I suggest you get down to the hospital right away.”

“Which sister?” Prue asked feeling tears sting her eyes.

“Phoebe Halliwell.” The voice answered.

“Thank you I’ll be right down.” Prue hung up and picked up her purse. She searched for her keys and finally found them. “Oh god let Phoebe be ok.” Prue

whispered to feeling tears flow down her cheeks.

She quickly headed to the hospital. Prue drove breaking the speed limit. It was a wonder that she didn’t get in an accident herself. As she reached the hospital

Prue quickly jumped out of the car. She headed to a desk with a nurse on the computer.

“May I help you?” The nurse replied sweetly.

“Yes my sister Phoebe Halliwell was brought here.” Prue said in a rush. The nurse tapped some things in the computer.

“Yes the doctors are working on her right now. If you take a seat over there the doctor will come out and talk to you as soon as he is done.” Prue went over to the waiting seat and put her head in her hands.

“Pheebs you better not leave us.” Prue whispered over and over.

As an hour went by the doctor still hadn’t come out with info on Pheebs. Prue was starting to get scared. She had no idea what had even happen to her. She

decided that Piper should know about this. Prue silently went over to some pay phones that she had spotted earlier. In all the panic earlier Prue had forgot to grab her cell phone. She dialed P3 and let it ring. After a few minutes there was no answer and

the machine picked up.

“Piper pick up I know your there with Leo.” Prue replied to the message. After still no one picked up she went on. “Well Phoebe was in an accident u guys have to get down here right away. I don’t know if she is going to be ok.” Prue felt herself break down and she quickly hung up the phone. “Piper where the hell are you!” Prue screamed as she fell to her knees. She was breaking down and needed some support from her sister.

After Prue pulled herself together she went back to her spot waiting. She watched the clock move. Hours went by and still there was nothing. Prue was starting

to get sick of it.

Meanwhile at P3 Leo orbed into Piper’s office. He found a mess of cabinet pieces all over the floor.

“Piper are you ok!” Leo yelled noticing some blood on the floor.

As he got no answer he started to panic. He quickly went out to the main club area to search through the masses of people for Piper. As Leo walked in he was the only one there. Now he knew something was terrible wrong. Piper hadn’t even opened the club.

Leo was about to orb to the manor when he caught the red light to the answering machine. He went over to it and clicked the button.

“Piper pick up I know your there with Leo.” Prue’s voice rang out. She sounded frantic. Leo’s heart beat fast at the long pause in the message. Prue then went

on, “Well Phoebe was in an accident u guys have to get down here right away. I don’t know if she is going to be ok.” Leo noticed Prue’s voice change into sobs at the end. Leo immediately orbed out to the hospital hoping everyone where all right.

Prue had cried herself asleep a little while ago. Although she wasn’t totally asleep. She was too alone and worried. Leo orbed into the hospital not caring about people seeing him. Luckily no one was looking their way. He saw Prue curled up in a ball on a chair.

He didn’t want to wake her but he had to know what was going on.

“Prue.” He gently shook her awake. At the site of someone she loved Prue jumped into his arms.

“Oh Leo Phoebe she she she is hurt and and I don’t know what’s wrong. The the doctors haven’t said anything.” Prue sobbed breaking down in Leo’s arms.

“Shhhhhh. Its gonna be ok.” Leo tired to comfort the oldest Halliwell.

“What what if she dies. Oh Leo I’ll never forgive myself. I’ve I’ve been so alone today. What if its like this all the time.” Prue cried harder.

“Everything is going to be ok. Do you know where Piper is honey?” Leo asked stroking her hair out of her face.

“I I don’t know I called the club but she didn’t pick up. She’s probably in her office obviously to everything.” Prue replied.

“Yeah I know you left a message there that’s how I found you. Piper didn’t open the club and she wasn’t there.” Leo said not wanting to make Prue more worried.

“Excuse me are you the family of Phoebe Halliwell?” A man in a white coat asked.

“Yes!” Prue exclaimed pulling a little out of Leo’s arms. She still leaned her weight on him knowing she was to weak to hold herself up. “She she isn’t…..”

“No but she is in rough shape.” The doctor replied.

“What happen doctor?” Leo asked knowing that both him and Prue wanted to know.

“She was hit by a car. She was crossing the road on a one-way street and the car was going the wrong way. It hit her and ran off.” The doctor answered.

“She she is gonna be ok right?” Prue asked hoping for the best.

“Well she is critical condition. She lost a lot of blood and has serial broken bones. Also a lot of debris from the car went into her eyes. If she makes it there is a possibility that she will lose her eyesight.” The doctor said with sadness in his voice.

“Oh god Phoebe.” Prue said losing the feeling in her legs. She started to fall, but Leo caught her before she hit the ground.

“Thank you doctor.” Leo replied moving Prue to a chair.

“I’ll let you know if anything changes. You can see her when you’re ready.” The doctor said pointing to a room down the hall.

“Thank you.” Leo said again as he hugged Prue.  After a few minutes Prue finally calmed down.

“Thank you Leo.” Prue whispered as she pulled away a little.

“For what?” Leo asked being puzzled.

“For being here for all of us. I know this is really hard and I’m breaking down while your staying strong.” Prue replied.

“Hey I love you guys. You’re my family and if anything happens to on of you……..” Leo didn’t finish the sentence. “Anyways sometimes its ok to break down a little. You don’t always have to hide your feelings Prue.” Leo said.

“Piper is one lucky women.” Prue smiled.

“The doctor said we could see Phoebe if you want to.” Leo replied changing the subject. He knew Prue hadn’t heard the doctor after she broke down. He figured that

she would wanna see Pheebs.

“Yeah I wanna see her. Your gonna come right?” Prue asked not knowing if she could face her younger sister alone.

“Of course. But after I think I should try and find Piper. I’m starting to get worried.” Leo whispered the last part.

“Ok.” Prue and Leo walked to Phoebe’s room. Prue hesitated at the door afraid of what she might see.

“Everything will be ok.” Prue reassured herself going into the room.

Phoebe was lying on her hospital bed. The monitor beep showing her heart was beating. She was so pale and had bruises all over her. A banged covered her eyes. Prue walked to one side of her bed and took her hand in hers. It was cold almost as if she was dead. Leo stood at Phoebes other side hating the elders. He knew they

would never let him heal her.

“Phoebe I love you. Please don’t leave us.” Prue felt more tears sting her eyes. She traced the outline of Phoebes face. This is all my fault Prue thought.

Piper awoke with a huge head ach. Her vision was blurred and it took a few minutes to focus. Piper looked around to find herself in some kind of warehouse. She tired getting up but found her legs and arms where tightly tied to a table. Her arms especial

where tight probably so she couldn’t freeze that ass hole Piper thought.

“Ah uh you’ve finally awakened. I need you awake for the next part.” Chris laughed as he came in the door.

“What do you want?” Piper asked weakly.

“All in good time sexy.” Chris answered.

Piper shivered at his cold voice. She prayed Leo would realize she was gone and come to save her. Chris pulled out an old crumbled up piece of paper. He walked over to one side of Piper and touched her cheek. He went down to her lips and she quickly bit his finger. Chris pulled it away as blood started to seep.

“Bitch! You’ll pay for that!” Chris yelled. He thrusted his hand on to her stomach with one hand.

In the other he put the crumpled piece of paper up so he could read it. He started chanting in a foreign language. One that Piper never heard before. Oh god I’m gonna die. Leo, Prue, Phoebe I love all you guys. After a few minutes Chris stopped chanting. Piper felt server pains in her stomach area and screamed in agony.

“Good it’s working.” Chris left a screaming Piper.

Meanwhile Phoebe awoke in a lighted room. It was blinding gold. Suddenly a figure appeared.

“Phoebe.” The figure whispered. Pheebs would know that voice anywhere.

“Mother.” She croaked out not believing her eyes.

“Yes its me.” They hugged not letting go.

“Am am I dead?” Phoebe asked realizing what this meant.

“Not yet. You had an accident and they are deciding weather you are going to die or not.” Patty replied.

“Oh god I can’t leave Prue, Piper, and Leo. I I love them so much. I mean I wanna be with you but I need them.”

“I know hun and I don’t want you to stay here. But speaking of your sisters Piper is in danger. Prue and Leo don’t know where she is and they can’t look for her because they are with you.” Patty said to her daughter.

“Oh god Piper can’t can’t die.” Phoebe choked.

“You weren’t suppose to get hit by that car today. You where suppose to have a premonition about Chris coming for Piper. Then you guys where going to save her

before it happen.”

“Oh god this this is all my fault.”

“No hun. We don’t have much time. But they are going to let you astral project to Leo and Prue. You have to tell them to save Piper.”

“I will mom I love you.” Phoebe said letting go of Patty.

“Goodbye sweetheart.” Patty said as Pheebs disappeared.

Phoebe reappeared in a white room. In front of her she saw herself laying on a bed. She looked so dead it scared Phoebe to see herself like that. Next to her she saw Prue and Leo sitting. They both had tears in there eyes.

“Prue………… Leo.” Phoebe whispered barely audible. Prue looked up hearing a soft cry.

“Oh my god Phoebe!” Prue yelled jumping up. Leo stood as well seeing Pheebs.

“Hi.” Phoebe choked out glad to see her family.

“Oh god Phoebe you’re your……… dead?” Prue asked as more tears weld up in her eyes.

“No Prue not yet. They are deciding my fate as we speak.” Phoebe replied.

“Oh god Pheebs you can’t leave us.”

“I don’t want to.” Phoebe answered feeling her own tears falling down.

Whipping them away she knew she had to tell them about Piper before it was to late.

“Prue, Leo Piper is in trouble. Mom told me she was kidnapped. By this warlock named Chris. You have to save her before he hurts her.” Phoebe explained. “Don’t worry about me I’ll be fine.”

“We we can’t just leave you.” Prue said not knowing what to do. She felt so helpless both her sisters where in danger.

“I’ll find her.” Leo said for the first time since Phoebe had appeared.

“No Leo you don’t have any offensive powers and we don’t know how strong this guy is.” Phoebe replied trying to talk him out of it.

“Don’t worry about me. Just don’t leave us.” Leo said orbing out.

“Leo Don’t!” Prue yelled.

Phoebe felt herself fading away and let more tears go. Not only had she gotten

Piper into danger but now Leo was in it to. This is all my fault Phoebe thought.

“I gotta go Prue. I love you.” Phoebe whispered as her body faded.

“Nooooo Phoebe don’t leave me.” Prue cried as her Pheebs disappeared.

After a few minutes she went back to her seat next to Phoebe holding her cold hand.

There was nothing Prue could do. Piper was kidnapped but Prue didn’t know where she was. She could only hope that Leo got her out safely. If anyone could do it though Leo can.

At the warehouse Piper screams got louder and louder. Her stomach was getting more painful by the moment. She wondered what the hell he did to her. Chris appeared at the doorway.

“Geez do you have to scream so loud your giving me a head ach?” Chris said getting annoyed. He had already done the spell why was she still in pain.

“What……… what did you………. Do to me?” Piper asked afraid of the answer she would get.

“Well hun. You see the evil council they don’t want you to have any little charmed ones. So I took away your ability to have children

“You you……. What?” Piper asked horrified.

“Yep that’s right. Now keep it down tell I figure out how I wanna kill you.” Chris again left the room. Piper started to cry realizing she could never have children with Leo.

“Why why why on earth would……….. would he want……… me now……… I I cant even give him…….. a child.” Piper sobbed.

Leo orbed into the manor he quickly climbed the steps

to Piper’s room. There he grabbed one of her shirts.

“This will help me find her.” Leo whispered to himself.

He closed his eyes and fell silent. A few minutes later Leo could feel Piper’s pain. She was crying so hard she could barely breath. Leo concentrated harder and saw the place she was in. It was an old warehouse downtown. Leo recognized it from another assignment he had had. Leo quickly opened his eyes and orbed to the warehouse.

Leo stayed in an unmatrilzed form as he checked his surroundings. There was no one else in the room except for Piper. She was tied to a table and was crying. Leo

felt his heart break as he looked at his love. This has to be a trap Leo thought to himself. There wasn’t much other choice though. He had to go and get her.

Leo orbed into the room right next to Piper. She didn’t even notice him as she cried so hard.

“Piper sweetie.” Leo said softly as he started untying her arms.

“Leo.” Piper choked seeing him untying the ropes.

“Yes honey it’s me. I’ll have you free in a sec.” Leo  had her arms free and went down to her legs. She couldn’t sit up she was too weak. Piper looked up to the doorway Chris was creping in. Piper quickly through her hands up and froze him.

“Leo he wont stay frozen long. I’m to weak.” Piper stated.

“Don’t worry.” Leo replied as he got the last of the ropes untied. He quickly picked her up in his arms and orbed out.

A few seconds later Leo appeared at the manor again. Piper was holding onto him tightly and sobbing into his chest.

“Shhhh Piper its ok your safe I’ve got you.” Leo soothed as he brought her upstairs. Leo brought Piper into her room and placed her carefully on the bed. To

his surprise though she wouldn’t let go of his neck.

“Don’t let go of me please DON’T! Don’t leave me don’t leave me please Leo I love you.” Piper sobbed as she started to panic.

“Ok ok shhhhhhh I’m not gonna leave you.” Leo replied trying to comfort his love.

Leo picked Piper up again and sat on the bed with her in his arms. He pulled her

close and rocked her back and forth. She clung to him like if she let go he would disappear. After two hours Piper had finally calmed down. Her sobs became less

and less. Leo held onto her stroking her hair and talking to her. Finally Piper drifted up to sleep.

Leo carefully laid Piper down against the bed.

“I’ll be right back honey. I just have to make sure Prue is ok.” Leo whispered into her ear. He softly placed a kiss on her cheek and orbed out.

Prue had drifted off to sleep with her head in Phoebes lap. Leo orbed in to find Pheebs had not changed at all. She still looked dead he wished he could save her like he had Piper. He hadn’t told Piper about Phoebe because he knew she needed rest. If he

had told her she would have never gotten a good nights sleep and that’s what she really needed at the moment.

“Prue.” Leo gently woke her up the second time today.

“Leo thank god your ok.” Prue said giving him a quick hug. “Is Piper ok?”

“Yes I got her out. She is pretty shaken up and I don’t want to leave her for to long. How’s Phoebe?” Leo asked already knowing the answer.

“No change she just lays there as if she is just sleeping. I feel like any moment she will just open her eyes and smile at me.” Prue said gazing back at her youngest sister.

“I know what you mean. Prue why don’t I bring you home. You look almost dead yourself and it will do Phoebe nor Piper any good to have you sick.” Leo said

with concern in his voice.

Prue knew Leo was right she did look dead. But she really didn’t want to leave

Phoebe.

“Prue come on we’ll come straight back tomorrow.” Leo went on as he offered his hand. Prue reluctantly took it and Leo orbed out with her.

They appeared in the kitchen.

“Did you tell Piper about Phoebe?” Prue asked wondering if Piper was dealing.

“No I couldn’t she is taking this whole kidnapping thing really hard. She needs all the rest she can get and she won’t get it if she knows about Pheebs.” Leo

said looking to the ground. He knew Piper wouldn’t be happy with him in the morning.

“Good I don’t want Piper to get sick.” Prue answered.

“Lets go to bed.” Leo suggested knowing they had a long day ahead of them.

“Ok.” Prue and Leo headed upstairs.

Prue went into her own room while Leo went into Piper’s. He found her

sitting on the bed with her knees up against her chest. She was crying into them while muttering, “Please don’t leave me.”

“Piper hun.” Leo said sitting on the bed. He pulled her close and she again cried into him. He pulled her back in to a laying position. With her head on his chest and his arms around her. She cried herself to sleep and soon Leo fell asleep to.

Prue awoke early the next day. She couldn’t sleep for long fearing for her sisters. During the night she had check in on Piper and Leo. She just wished Pheebs was ok.

“I’ve gotta get to the hospital.” Prue whispered to herself as she got out of bed. She dressed and tip toed past Piper’s room. She then headed to the kitchen to have some coffee to wake her up.

Leo had seen Prue pass Piper’s room. He quietly got out of Piper’s embrace and went down to the kitchen. Their Prue had her head down on the table. Leo could tell she was crying.

“Prue.” Leo said as he placed a hand on her back. She jumped a mile she didn’t know anyone was up.

“I just hope Pheebs is ok.” Prue muttered.

“Do you want me to orb you to the hospital?” Leo asked knowing Prue didn’t seem fit to drive.

“Yeah.” Leo took Prue in his arms and they orbed to the hospital.

Their Phoebe was still sleeping. She looked the same as she did the night before. Prue

sighed and went over to her baby sister.

“Prue I’m gonna head home and make sure Piper is ok. I’m going to tell her soon and she’ll probably wanna come down here. Yell for me if you wanna come home.” Prue just nodded in response and Leo orbed out.

Leo orbed back into the kitchen and yawned. Yesterday had been a hard day and it had drained him of his energy.

“Are you ok?” A voice asked as someone orbed in. Leo didn’t have to turn around to know it was his sister.

“Yeah just tired.” Leo answered turning around to see Julie.

“How’s Phoebe?”

“The same but you already knew that. I I just wish they would let me do something.”

“I know. Phoebe is a strong person if anyone can make it she can. Besides she has to many good things to leave behind.

“Leo!!!!!” Julie was interrupting by Piper’s scream.

Leo immediately headed for the stairs.

“Leo I’m heading out talk to you later.” Julie said as she orbed out. She knew that they had to be alone.

“Piper shhh sweetie I’m here.” Leo said talking her into his arms.

“Oh god Leo I I thought it had all been a dream.” Piper cried.

“I know hun. Your safe now I won’t let anyone hurt you.” Leo soothed. He rocked Piper back in fourth as she calmed down.

“I wish it had never happen.” Piper muttered.

“Piper hun I need to know what happen. What I mean did he did he do anything to you?” Leo asked afraid of the answer he would get. Piper broke down again at the

mention of what happened. She couldn’t tell him he would never want to be with her anymore. “Please Piper let me make things better.” Leo pleaded hating seeing her like this. Piper calmed herself a little and took a deep breath. “Tell me everything that happened please.” Leo said stroking back some of her hair.

“Well I was was at P3 and I heard sirens. Then Chris he orbed or blinked in and and threw me against the wall. The next thing I know I’m tied to a table. He he

wasn’t there when I woke up. But but he came in soon and and he…………… He put his finger to my cheek then then to my lip. I bit it and he he pulled away. He he said I would pay and and…………. He placed a hand on my stomach. He he then he chanted in a language I have never heard. Then it it was so painful my stomach it hurt so so much. After what seemed like hours I I still hurt. He came he came back in and and told me…………” Piper broke down and cried harder than she had before.

“What did he do? Piper shhhh I love you.” Leo said rocking her again. “Tell me I promise to do anything I can to fix it.”

“He he he said that that the spell took took……….. took away my ability to have children. Oh Leo I love you so much. How how could you want to be with me now?

Now I I can’t even give you a family. First I cheat on you with him then then I can’t……..”

“Shhhhh no Piper I love you. I would never leave you just because we can’t have kids. I mean there is always adoption right.” Leo said shocked that she

would even think he would leave her.

“Sure you say that now but but wait a few years.” Piper sobbed.

“Piper I didn’t fall in love with you to have kids. Yeah having some would have been nice, but I love you for you. Look at me Piper.” Leo gentle lifted up Piper’s tear streaked face. “I love you with all my heart and no matter what I will be by your side.”

“Really.” Piper sniffed.

“Really.” Leo smiled kissing her.

“I love you two.” She said laying back down on the bed. After a few minutes she fell back asleep.

Leo stared down at his hands then back to Piper.

“Please let this work.” Leo softly placed his hands on Piper’s stomach. They glowed gold for a second then went dark. “Damit!” Leo yelled. Piper stirred a little but as Leo fell silent she went back to sleep. WHY AM I EVEN A WHITELIGHTER Leo thought getting up and walking out of the room. He couldn’t stand it anymore he promised her he would make things better and somehow he would.

Leo orbed to the hospital to see if Prue needed anything. Prue was in the same position as before. Her eyes where all red from crying.

“Prue.” Leo said announcing he was there. He knew she hadn’t heard him orb in she never did.

“Leo.” Prue said not looking up to him. “How’s Piper?”

“Prue can we talk outside.” Leo paused as Prue got up and they went outside Pheebs room. “Piper said that that demon did some kind of spell on her.” Leo whispered to Prue

“What kind of spell?” Prue asked getting worried.

“It umm she said it takes away your ability to have children.” Leo continued.

“Oh my god. Poor Piper why did this have to happen to her. She of all people wanted to have a family.” Prue gasped.

“I know I know and and I can’t even heal her. I should be able to its demon related. Its just not fair WHY THE HELL AM I A WHITELIGHTER? I CAN’T EVEN HELP

ONE OUT OF THE THREE PEOPLE I CARE MOST ABOUT IN THE WORLD.” Leo yelled slipping to the ground and putting his head in his hands.

“Hey its not your fault. You’re not the one who did the spell, and your not the one who hit Phoebe. Non of this is your fault and and I guess you can’t heal them

because its not meant to be.” Prue kneeled down trying to convince he was not to blame.

“Screw what’s meant to be. I’m going to find a way to help both of them. Any way that I can.” Leo said getting up.

“What are you going to do?” Prue asked.

“First I’m going to find that dam demon and make him tell me how to reverse the spell. Then I’ll find a way to bring Phoebe back.” Leo replied.

“What about Piper?”

“I can’t stay with her right now. You’re going to  have to go to her. She needs you Prue.” Prue nodded at this and took Leo’s hand. He orbed back to Piper’s room where she laid sound asleep. Prue knelt next to Piper and stroked the hair out of her face.

“Leo be careful.” Prue whisper as he orbed out. “Don’t get hurt. For Piper’s sake.” Prue muttered to.

“Prue.” Piper groaned stirring awake.

“Hey honey. I’m sorry I haven’t been around much.” Prue said sweeping away the hair in her face. Prue knew she had to tell Piper about Phoebe. It wasn’t fair to Piper.

“Where’s Leo?” Piper asked sitting up and searching the room.

“Leo had some business to take care of.” Prue replied deciding not to go any further than that.

“When will he be back?” Piper asked putting a hand to her stomach. Most of the pain had disappeared but she was still soar.

“Soon honey soon.” Prue answered giving her younger sister a hug. “I’m so sorry you had to go through that.” Piper sniffled a little at the mention. I’m not

going to fall apart again Piper said to herself.

“Where’s Pheebs?” Piper asked changing the subject.

She hadn’t seen her youngest sister since the morning she was taken. Prue stiffened at the mention of the youngest Halliwell. Tears welled up in Prue’s eyes. She quickly held them back for Piper.

“Honey. The the day you where taken something something happen. Something bad….” Prue stuttered not wanting to do this. Prue was a wreck and knew she couldn’t handle this. Pull yourself together Prue thought.

“What happen?” Piper asked becoming alarmed. She had rarely seen Prue on the verge of tears. The last time was when Andy died. “Oh god Prue she she isn’t dead?” Piper asked realizing a horrible truth.

“No no not yet.” Prue said abruptly stressing that she wasn’t dead. “No no she’s she’s not dead.”

“Who are you trying to convince me or you?” Piper asked getting mad. Something was wrong with Pheebs and she wanted to know what.

“Phoebe she was in an accident. A car ummmm……….. A car hit her………” Prue paused letting Piper take this in.

“Oh god no.” Was all Piper could choke out. Tears formed in her eyes.

“She she is in a coma now.” Prue continued. She deiced to leave out the part that if she woke up she could be blind. Prue knew that would be the end for Piper.

“Noo.” Piper sobbed. Prue quickly wrapped her arms around Piper.

“I know honey. Phoebe is strong though she she will make it.” Prue soothed her own tears spilling out.

After a few minutes Piper pulled away.

“I want to see her.” She muttered getting up.

Prue just nodded as they walked down stairs. After ten minutes the two sisters entered the hospital. Prue had driven knowing Piper was in no condition to drive. Piper slowly walked behind Prue she stopped at the door to Pheebs room. She swallowed a few limps that had formed and entered. Their Pheebs layed hooked up to so many machines. Her eyes where bandaged and she had bruises all over. Piper felt like falling right there and crying her heart out. She quickly moved to the side of the bed and took Phoebe’s hand.

“Its so cold.” Piper muttered at the touch of Phoebe’s skin.

“I’m going to find the doctor see if anything has changed.” Prue announced knowing her sister needed some alone time. Piper didn’t acknowledge Prue as she left. She only stared at her baby sister.

Prue walked the halls to the office where a bunch of nurses where talking. They hadn’t noticed Prue waiting at the desk and continued with their conversation.

“Have you seen that poor girl in room 44?” One of the nurses was asking another.

“Oh god yeah I feel bad for her. If she even wakes up its most certain that she will be blind.” The other nurse replied. Prue felt her heart beat fast the doctor hadn’t said that Phoebe would most likely be blind.

“Excuse me!” Prue almost yelled.

“Oh sorry miss didn’t see you there. What may I do for you?” The nurse who had answered greeted Prue.

“I need to see Doctor Clines.” (Note: the doctor who had been taken care of Pheebs)   Prue said frustration filling her.

“Oh you haven’t heard the awful news the doctor passed away last night.” The other nurse replied a said gaze in her eyes.

“What about my sister he is her doctor?” Prue asked.

“What’s your sisters name?” The nurse asked sitting down at her computer.

“Phoebe Halliwell in room 44.” Prue replied.

The nurse’s face fell as she realized that the young lady in front of her had probably heard them. She quickly  typed in Phoebe’s name.

“Phoebe has been transferred to Doctor Tomaszewski.” The nurse replied. “Should I page him for you?”

“Yes. I’ll be at my sisters room.” Prue said heading over to her family.

In Phoebe’s room Piper held on to her hand tightly.

“Oh Pheebs this is all my fault. Everything is, god this shouldn’t have happen to you. Not you. You have so much to give please Pheebs don’t leave me. I’ll die if you go and so will Prue.” Prue walked back into the room. Piper looked up with tears in her eyes.

“How is she?” Prue asked not expecting anything different.

“God Prue look at her. She’s just lying there as if she’s just sleeping. But she’s not I mean she could never wake up.” Piper choked.

“I know. I love you guys so much.” Prue whispered giving Piper another hug. Suddenly the door open and a man in a white coat stood.

“Sorry to interrupt but Miss. Halliwell you had me paged?” The man said. He was very handsome with blonde spiky hair. He looked to be around Prue’s age. His

blue eyes where piercing.

“Yes I wanted to talk.” Prue said walking out the door. The doctor followed.

“I’ve been updated about your sister.” The doctor explained.

“I heard some nurses saying that if she woke up that she would most likely be blind.” Prue said holding back tears.

“I’m not going to lie to you Miss. Halliwell she will probably be blind. I’m sorry.” The doctor answered with sadness in his voice.

Prue saw his eyes change with deep concern. He was different, if things with

Phoebe weren’t this bad I might consider going out with him. Prue immediately scolded herself Phoebe was fighting for her life while she played googoo eyes at the doctor.

“What are her chances of waking?” Prue asked not wanting to know the answer. She knew that they where probably bad, but in her heart she had to hope.

“50/50. It could go ether way.” He replied.

He felt his heart sink when he saw Prue’s reaction. Although he had just met her he found Prue incredible beautiful. If her sister wasn’t in such bad shape he might consider asking her out.

“Thank you.” Prue choked over tears.

“I’m deeply sorry I’ll do everything I can for her.” He answered giving Prue a hug.

“Thank you.” Prue replied going back into Phoebe’s room. She was to distracted to even notice the hug.

“God what did I do that? It was way out of line.” The doctor whispered to himself as he went to check on some other patients.

Weeks went by and nothing changed for Phoebe. The only good part about that was she didn’t get worse. Doctor Tomaszewski was very nice and told the girls not to give up. Piper was started to get worried not only about Pheebs but Leo. He hadn’t returned and this worried her. Had he lied to her, maybe he really didn’t want to be with her. Maybe he just made that excuse because he felt sorry for me. Or maybe he found someone else that could have children and fell in love. Piper kept these thoughts to herself. Everything was so mixed up now. Prue was wreck with Phoebe this way and Piper didn’t want to burden her with anything else.

One night when both the girls deiced to go home since they had been at the hospital forever. Usually one of them stayed and the other went home got some rest and

cleaned up. Piper sat on the couch with Prue at her side. They sat in silence not knowing what to say to each other. Since this happen Prue and Piper barely

ever talked. Finally Piper broke the silence.

“Prue are you mad at me?” Piper asked not knowing what else to say. She was uncomfortable for the first time with her sister.

“No Piper I’m not. Its just Pheebs yeah know. The longer she is in a coma the worst chance she gets off waking up.” Prue replied getting that off her chest.

“I know.” Piper sniffled. “Prue can I ask you something?” Piper asked wanting to change the subject before she cried again.

“Sure anything.” Prue answered facing her sister.

“Well I think Leo doesn’t want me any more.” Piper sighed avoiding eye contact.

“WHAT!!!” Prue was shocked with what her younger sister was saying. “Why?” She asked lowering her voice.

Prue had been worried about Leo ever since he left. She had no idea that he had contacted Piper and told her he didn’t want to be with her.

"He he left after I told him I can’t give him children. He he said he still loved me but he left. He’s not here for me and this is one of the hardest times in my life.” Piper said becoming furious he wasn’t there for here.

“My god Piper everything is about you!” Prue screamed standing up.

“What!” Piper yelled standing up.

“HE’S OUT THERE SOMEWHERE RISKING HIS LIFE BECAUSE HE FEELS RESPONSBILE FOR WHAT HAPPEN TO YOU WITH CHRIS. AND YOU’RE HERE SAYING THAT HE DOESN’T WANT YOU. THAT THAT HE’S CHEATING ON YOU!!” Prue yelled even louder. She stormed upstairs leaving a bewildered Piper downstairs.

“Leo you have been looking non stop for this guy. Don’t you think you should go see Piper?” Julie asked very concerned for her brother. For the last couple weeks he hadn’t been near Halliwell manor. “She is probably worried sick Leo.” Julie continued.

“I can’t go near there until I do something. I’m suppose to be their dam whitelighter. I’m suppose to protect them and look what has happened.” Leo yelled out.

“Whitelighters are suppose to guide. You’ve done a great job guiding them. Whitelighters jobs aren’t suppose to be to fix everything that goes wrong in

their charges life.” Julie said.

“Then maybe it’s a boyfriends job.” Leo spout out.

“What are you even going to do if you find this guy?”

“Make him tell me what he did?” Leo confirmed.

“And if he doesn’t?” Julie didn’t want to sound harsh but she had to get her brother to realize he couldn’t fix everything.

“I’ll find a way.”

“You’ve been a whitelighter longer than I have and you know you can’t kill him. Even if he is a demon.”

“Listen I’ll do what I have to do. God if the elders would just tell me where he is this would go a whole lot faster!” Leo yelled throwing assorted items he had been using.

“Have you tried searching for him in your mind?” Julie asked admitting defeat.

There was no way she was going to get Leo to back down. So she mine as well

help him so he could get back to Piper. She was sure she needed him with her sister’s condition.

“Of course I have!” Leo said annoyed at the question.

“Well it’s your weakest power I’ll try finding him.” Julie replied ignoring Leo’s mood.

“That’s the first helpful thing you’ve done all day.” Julie closed her eyes and fell silent. After a few minutes she opened her eyes again and sighed.

“I think I found him.” Julie replied surprised that it had worked.

“Really!” Leo exclaimed equally surprised.

Julie snapped her fingers and a map of the city appeared in her hands.

“Its not fair that you get that power.” Leo muttered.

“Hey you have powers I don’t have.” Julie laughed.

“Yes but that one is so much more convenient.”

“Well if you stopped breaking so many rules the elders might give you more.” Julie joked knowing her brother would always follow his heart. “Here.” Julie pointed to a street that Leo didn’t know.

“Do you know what house apartment whatever?” Leo questioned.

“Apartment c 24.” Julie answered.

“Thanks.” Leo said as he orbed out.

“Wait Leo!” Julie explained instantly he reappeared.

“What?”

“Be careful I love you.” Julie said hugging him tightly.

“I will. Thanks for the help I love you to.” Leo said as he orbed out.

Meanwhile back at the manor Piper still sat on the couch crying. It had been an hour since Prue had yelled at her and she didn’t know what to do. How could things change so quickly? Piper thought. Phoebe might die, Leo was in trouble, Prue hated her, life

couldn’t get worse.

“Piper.” Prue said her voice cracked a little. Her eyes where red and puffy Piper knew she had been crying as well. Prue walked over to Piper and gave her a big hug.

“What’s that for?” Piper asked whipping away her tears.

“I’m really sorry for yelling at you. Its just everything is so confusing now. We shouldn’t be pulling apart we should be pulling together for Phoebe.” Prue replied feeling incredible guilty. “Please will you forgive me?”

“Of course I will Prue. You were right though. I can’t believe that I wasn’t trusting Leo.” Piper whispered.

“Don’t worry he’ll be back soon I know he will.” Prue assured her.

“What was he planning on doing?” Piper asked.

“I honestly don’t know. All he said that he was going to fix everything. Come on lets get some rest so we can go see Phoebe tomorrow.” Prue said helping Piper

up.

“Ok.” Piper replied as they walked upstairs. “Can I sleep in your room Prue?” Piper asked not wanting to be alone.

“Of course.” Both Prue and Piper got into Prue’s bed. After an hour of both of them tossing and turning they fell asleep.

Leo lingered in the apartment Julie had told him. Chris didn’t seem to be home yet which was good for Leo. He honestly didn’t know what he was going to do.

He figured he would play It by ear.

Suddenly the door opened and a man entered. Leo recognized him from when he rescued Piper. Chris threw off his long black coat and flipped on the TV. He relaxed in a chair. After a few minutes he started to drift off.

“This is my chance.” Leo whispered orbing in. He grabbed Chris by the collar and lifted him up against the wall.

“WHAT THE HELL!” Chris yelled as he’s body was being lifted. Leo was much stronger than Chris and as hard as he tried he couldn’t get out of his grasp.

“Oh I guess you’re a little pissed.” Chris sneered as he recognized the outraged whitelighter.

“You could say that.” Leo sneered back. “How do I reverse the spell?” Leo demanded.

“Huh see if I told you that they would kill me.” Chris replied smugly.

“You’re going to die anyways if you don’t tell me.” Leo replied tightening his grip on Chris.

“Huh what you’re going to kill me. You’re a whitelighter guess you didn’t read the handbook. Whitelighters can’t harm anyone or anything even if it is evil. If they do they lose their wings and much more.” Chris laughed not afraid of Leo.

“I’ll repeat the question for you.” Leo said starting to lose what little patients he had. “How do I reverse the spell on Piper.” Leo yelled again tightening his grip on Chris.

“Well you would have to kill me and well that isn’t gonna happen.” Chris laughed harder even though he could hardly breath.

“You think so.” Leo sneered.

His eyes glowed red along with his hand around Chris’s neck. Heat radiated

from Leos hands.

“What the hell you can’t do that. Your not a darklighter.” Chris yelled, as the heat got more intense.

As it got more painful he screamed louder. After a few minutes Chris fell to the ground dead. Leo’s eyes lost the red glow but darkness was in them. Pains went all through him and he fell to the ground.

Up in the heavens Julie was pacing back and fourth. She was worried sick about Leo. She was suppose to be out on and assignment but she was taking a break. Suddenly she felt a surge of evil go through her. She fell to her knees feeling coldness pass after a few seconds. Tears come to her eyes when she realized what had happen. Leo hadn’t listened to her. The elders where meeting. They where all talking at the same time, trying to discuss the problem with the charmed ones. The head whitelighter’s head was

pounding hard from all the chattering.

“Shut up all of you!” He yelled in frustration. Immediately everyone become quiet. Jake *The head whitelighter* sighed at the silence.

“Now we need to figure out something and quick. Without all three charmed ones and no whitelighter they are all in danger.” Jake said making sure everyone knew what the problem was.

“Can’t we just send another whitelighter down and let fate decide whether the youngest should survive?” A different whitelighter asked.

“No we have no free whitelighters at the moment. They are all on assignment.” Jake answered. He sighed again the whole Charmed thing had been very hard.

“I suggest we get the youngest and offer her a gift.” A female whitelighter purposed.

“What are you talking about?” Jake asked the younger whitelighter.

“Well we offer the Halliwell a chance to be a whitelighter.” She explained.

“Then we will have all three charmed ones along with a whitelighter brilliant.” A male whitelighter concluded.

“It looks like the only good idea we have.” Jake replied knowing there would be glitches in this plan. He would just have to work around them somehow. “Go

get her.” Jake commanded to a whitelighter near the door.

A few minutes past and he returned with Phoebe at his side. Phoebe was frighten being in front of the people who where deciding her fate.

“Phoebe Halliwell.” Jake stated.

“Yes?” Phoebe asked.

“You have two choices. We will let you go on to heaven where u will spend eternity. Or we will let you be a whitelighter a guide to your sisters.” Jake said

knowing they just couldn’t tell Phoebe she HAD to be a whitelighter. The rules where the person had to chose.

“But my sisters they have a whitelighter Leo.” Phoebe stated confused why would the elders give them two whitelighters.

“Not anymore.” Jake replied bluntly.

“WHAT!” Phoebe yelled afraid of what that meant.

“Leo is no longer under our control. Now you can go down and be a whitelighter and help protect your sisters from him. Or you can go on and let your sisters die.” Jake replied.

“What do you mean he isn’t under your control?” Phoebe asked.

“We can’t tell you anything tell you choose.”

“Yes I’ll become a whitelighter.” Phoebe said figuring she could just clip her wings when she got down there.

“There is one catch.” Jake went on.

“Of course there’s always a catch.” Phoebe muttered.

“You can’t clip your wings until this thing is resolved. Plus when you become a whitelighter your human body down in the hospital will disappear. You will go back in an immortal body that is almost completely the same as your mortal one. If you clip

your wings there could be a complication and your body might not be the same as before.” Jake tried to explain a very complicating thing.

“What I don’t understand.” Phoebe said.

“You don’t really have to understand. Just understand that if u clip your wings then you could be blind since your accident. Or you might not be able to walk something like that.” Jake tried to explain further.

“Oh.” Phoebe said trying to take it all in.

“So your decision being?” Jake asked hopeful.

“I’ll be a whitelighter.” Phoebe answered with no doubt in her mind. She would do anything to help the people she loved. Jake extended his hand and Phoebe put hers in it. It glowed gold for a few seconds. Phoebe felt power serge through her body.

“It is done. Now we will explain everything,” Jake said releasing Phoebe’s hand.

*By the way this is happening during Phoebe becoming a whitelighter*

Prue and Piper sat next to their sister. Prue stroked her hair back while Piper held her hand. Piper kept telling Phoebe what had been happening in life as if she where awake. Prue just listened and once and a while would put a few words in.

“Phoebe honey come back to us we need you.” Piper said letting tears roll down her cheeks. She hadn’t cried all day and couldn’t hold it in any more.

Suddenly there was a continualness beeping noise. Phoebe’s heart had stopped.

“Oh My god Prue!” Piper cried realizing what was happening. Prue quickly ran out of the room to get the doctor. They where already at the door and they rushed in.

Prue took Piper into her arms and they both started to cry.

“Phoebe!” Piper kept yelling each time they tried to get her heart to beat again. Piper broke down and fell to the ground. “No no no she can’t die.” Piper kept muttering. Prue held her close crying as well.

The doctors tried serial times to get Phoebe’s heart to beat again. Finally the doctor put the automatic defibrillators down and faced the two remaining Halliwell's.

“I’m so sorry but her heart it just gave way.” The doctor said tears in his own eyes. “I’m so sorry there was nothing I could do.”

Piper and Prue just held each other tight rocking back in fourth. Each there minds on Pheebs the good times the bad. And how much it was going to hurt not

to see her everyday.

“We’re……..  never never………going to see…….. her her her smile or………. Or hear her her……….. laugh.” Piper cried.

“This is turning out better than I expected.” One of the evil council men said.

“Yes who would have thought we would gain such a good advantage.” Another one laughed.

“We will destroy the Charmed ones for sure this time!”
