Leo listened to the lyrics of the song at P3. Piper was dealing with a worker while he sat alone. The lyrics matched what his life had been like. He had found Piper his diamond but was forced away from her. The worst night of his life was at the beach saying goodbye to her. It hurt him so much for the rest of the time he was away. Every night it got harder and harder to do things that came simple to him. Such as

walking, talking, just breathing, or his heart beating another beat. The memory just wouldn’t get out of his head. He thought about her 24/7. It was almost impossible to do his job. But somehow with the hope of their paves crossing again he got threw it. And indeed their paths did cross again.

Piper finally got done with her work and came back to Leo.

“Sorry about that honey.” She said sitting on his lap. He pulled her close to him taking in her sent.

“Its ok.” Leo replied.

“What do you say we go home?” Piper asked covering her mouth with his.

“Hmmm I’d be crazy to decline.” Leo replied as Piper slipped her hand into his.

Piper and Leo headed outside into the alley. Their Leo took her in his strong arms and orbed. A dark figure loomed in the shadows.

“You both think you know what is to come. You think you have already been threw the storm. Ha well you haven’t even come close.” The figures eyes glowed red

with hatred. “You will pay that’s a promise.” With that he disappeared.

A little later on Piper and Leo laid in bed arms around one another. Leo had fallen asleep before Piper. She laid their head on his chest.

“I love you.” She whispered thinking of their relationship.

Things had gotten much deeper in their relationship if that’s possible. Every day Piper loved him even more. She wanted to take it to the next level. Which is to for them to live together. They practically already did that but Piper wanted to make it official. But this just didn’t affect her and Leo. It had to do with her sisters two they also live at

the manor. Piper was nervous what if they didn’t want him to or if he didn’t want to.

“What are you thinking?” Leo questioned.

“Huh I thought you where asleep.” Piper replied looking into his eyes.

“I was sort of.” Leo answered.

“Oh well I was just thinking……..” Piper started. She sat up and got on top of Leo. Leo looked towards the clock then back to Piper.

“Its 3:30 in the morning and you wanna……”

“No silly I wasn’t thinking that.” Piper laughed hitting him playfully.

“To bad.” Leo replied pretending to be disappointed.

“Oh you go back to sleep.” Piper replied lying back down.

“What? Your not gonna tell me?” Leo questioned.

“I’ll tell you later. I have to ask my sisters something.” Piper explained.

“Uh oh sisters advice what’s up?” Leo joked.

“You’ll just have to wait. Now go to sleep.” Piper replied putting her head back on Leo’s chest. After another half hour finally both of them fell into a deep sleep.

Piper woke up early Leo still sleeping. She hurried out of bed. She wanted to ask Leo today but she had to talk to her sisters first.

“Hey Piper.” Phoebe greeted as Piper come into the kitchen.

“Phoebe where’s Prue?” Piper questioned she wanted to ask them before Leo got up. Usually he didn’t sleep long after she left.

“She’s right here.” Prue replied from the doorway.

“Ok well I ummmm wanted to ask you guys something…….” Piper started.

“Yeaaah.” Phoebe replied after the long pause.

“Well I was umm I was wonder if it would sort of yeah know.”

“Spit it out Piper we don’t have all day.” Prue laughed.

“Ok if Leo could move in with us?” Piper rushed out.

Both girls laughed.

“Uh hun he already practical does.” Phoebe stated.

“Yeah I know but I wanna make it official you know sharing closet space.” Piper explained.

“Well I don’t mind but it’s your death. You’re the one with less closet space.” Phoebe joked.

“Well I don’t have as many as you Pheebs.”

“Yeah its fine with me two.” Prue answered.

“Great love yeah.” With that Piper ran back upstairs.

She walked into her room to find Leo still asleep. She jumped on top of him immediately waking him up.

“What was that for? I was having a good dream.”

“It better been about me.”

“Actually it was about this really cute blonde.”

“Hey hmph.” Piper replied hitting him. “Blondes are dumb.”

“Just kidding of course it was about you.” Leo said before he got wacked again.

“Ok series now I wanna ask you something.” Piper said whipping away her smile.

“Uh oh I’m not in trouble am I?” Leo asked innocently.

“I dunno did you do something??” Piper replied suspecial.

“Of course not.”

“Ok well back to my subject here. I kind of wanted to know if you ummmmm. Ok I know you practical do live her but I ummmmm.”

“Piper you’re not making any sense.” Leo laughed.

“Ok well do you ummm wanna you know move in with us?” Piper asked hope in her eyes. Leo smiled and kissed her softly on the lips.

“I would love to.” He whispered. “But are you sure?” Leo questioned.

“Of course I wouldn’t ask if I wasn’t.” Piper replied pulling him closer. “As much as I loved you before I love you more now.”

“I love you two.” They kissed once again. Leo suddenly looked to the sky. “Hmmm duty calls.”

“I’m gonna miss you.” Piper replied pouting.

“Ill be back tonight with my stuff.” Leo planted a kiss on her cheek and got up.

“See yeah later.” Leo then orbed out to where ever he orbs to.

Piper sat on her bed and sighed trying to get the strength to get ready for work. The man from the alley appeared next to her cloaked.

“He just left you. You’re driving him away. Your moving to fast why do you think he made that excuse. He doesn’t want to be anywhere near you. It hurts doesn’t it wish you never meat him.” A voice said in Piper’s head.

She sat their shocked at the words trying to figure them out. She immediately pushed them out of her mind.

“He does love me.” She said with confidence.

With that she got up and got ready for work. The man smile changed from a frown.

“This is going to be harder than I thought.” He muttered. “Oh well I have all eternity. I just have to find a weakness of there’s.” The man then orbed out waiting for a better time to strike.

Leo stood in his whitelighter room looking around. He had already finished what the elders had called him for. He was just looking at the stuff he had to bring down to Piper’s. Course he didn’t have much whitelighters aren’t know for having many items. After all they usually don’t stay in their room to often.

“Hmmm what am I gonna put this stuff in?” Leo wondered realizing he didn’t have any boxes.

“Box express.” Julie exclaimed orbing in.

“What are you doing here?” Leo asked turning towards his sister.

“Well I thought you could use some help packing.” Julie explained.

“And how do you know I’m leaving?” Leo questioned.

“Oh Leo, Leo, Leo word travels around fast up here yeah know.” Julie laughed.

“No fair!” Lucas said orbing in. Leo sighed knowing exactly why his siblings where here.

“What?” Julie asked innocently.

“Coughcoughsuckupcoughcough. Geesh these dang coughs.” Lucas smirked. Julie just stuck her tong out at him while Leo rolled his eyes.

“What can I do to help you?” Julie asked ignoring Lucas.

“And me.” Lucas replied.

“I know you two. You don’t wanna help your after my room.” Leo replied looking from one to the other.

“Oh ugh Leo I’m hurt that you would think that of me. Of course I’m here to help. I would never just come here for your room.” Julie replied pretending to be

hurt.

“Yeah she’s so sweet she would never do that. Me on the other hand is here for that.” Lucas said.

“I’m not that sweet.” Julie shot back.

“Leo I need this room it’s bigger than ours. Just because you have done more work you get a better room.” Lucas muttered.

“No waaay I’ve been a whitelighter longer than you. I need this room. Plus I’m a girl with needs. And my needs is a bigger closet.” Julie explained.

“I’m older!”

“Soooo I’m better looking!”

“Are not!!”

“Are two!”

“Ugh both of you shot up or neither gets it!” Leo exclaimed getting a head ach. Both of them immediately shut up.

“Sooo who gets it?” Julie questioned after a long pause. Leo sighed sitting back onto his bed.

“Well Lucas got my room when I went away to the war. Soooo Julie can have my room this time but if I ever need it you’re giving it to me.” Leo came to a conclusion.

“YAY oh did I ever tell you you are my favorite brother!” Julie squealed giving her a hug.

“You have always been closer to her.” Lucas grumbled.

“Told yeah Id get it.” Julie smiled.

“Ok now you two help me pack my stuff.” Leo said.

“Ill take the dresser with Lucas and Julie go to threw the closet.” The three of them then started to pack Leo up.

Julie was almost done the closet when she came upon a box in the back.

“Hey Leo what are these?” She asked pointing to the box.

“I dunno but don’t unpack it that would be stupid.” Leo replied. Julie shrugged picking up the box and putting it on the bed.

“Done.” All three said in unison.

“Hmmmmm its not gonna be the same without you.” Julie sighed looking at all the stuff they had packed.

“You can stop sucking up you got the room.” Leo laughed.

“No I’m series.”

“She’s right.” Lucas agreed.

“Aww guys I’m not going far. Plus I’m still a whitelighter. For now at least. You’ll still see me.”

“Wait wait go back to that for now thing.” Lucas exclaimed.

“Things are getting serious between Piper and I. It’s going to come up someday. And if it’s a choice between what I love more its Piper.” Leo explained.

Lucas nodded understanding he knew that choice might come up for him to.

“Well don’t do anything drastic tell you talk with as.” Julie added.

“I wont oh and Julie you know this doesn’t change anything I’m not giving up.” Leo explained. Julie sat back down on the bed.

“I’m just about ready to give up.” She sighed sadly.

“Hey hun Leo and I will find him I know it. Just have to wait a little longer.” Lucas said hugging her.

Leo had told Lucas about most of the things he had missed. He felt bad for his little sister. They had taken away her love from her and she didn’t know where. Lucas and

Leo made a date every night to try and find him. But when the elders didn’t want someone found that’s the way it was kept.

“Well enough bout my depressing life. You go and get your butt down there.” Leo said whipping away a tear.

“You sure.” Leo sighed.

“Go ahead.” Lucas mouthed. Leo nodded and grabbed 3 boxes.

“Ill be back for the rest.” Leo said as he orbed out.

Meanwhile Piper was in the kitchen cooking. She had decided to stay home from P3 feeling a bit under the weather. Leo orbed in behind her with boxes.

“Looks like you’ve been packing.” She smiled taking on for him.

“Hmmmmmm I love you.” Leo said dropping the boxes and hugging Piper.

“Love you two.” Piper whispered as they kissed passionately.

Piper ran her hands behind his neck as Leos played with her hair. Their kiss grew deeper and more passionate. Leo pulled away and looked up to the sky.

“Now?” Piper questioned sadly.

“I’m sorry Ill make it quick.” Leo replied bring her closer.

“Alright well Ill get started on your stuff her.” Piper sighed.

“You don’t have to.”

“I want to now get going so you can come back.”

“Love you.” With that Leo orbed out.

Piper sighed again as she brought the packages upstairs. She had a little trouble opening them but she finally did it. Piper looked inside at the contents. Something was

strange about the stuff. She had never seen the stuff before but it was so familiar. She picked up a smelled jacket. Leo’s scent was defiantly on it but she also smelt something else.

“What is this stuff from?” Piper wondered.

Ok I don’t know the dates this stuff happened so just pretend there are dates on the journey inters.

Piper searched threw the box tell she came upon a small book. She traced it feeling the smooth black leather beneath her fingertips. Opening it up Piper found page after page written in Leo’s handwriting.

“Hmmm wonder what this is.” Piper thought out load starting to read the first page.

Ok well I’m basically breaking a rule here by writing stuff down. Yes “they” have way to many rules. This one is actually sensible though. Because if this book ever got into the wrong hands than that evil might know secrets about as. Or even ways to harm a charge. So people in this shall remain nameless for their safety. If you’re a demon go away innless you want to bore yourself reading a whitelighter mushy thoughts.

Well I think I have just had the best day in my life. Sure I got hurt and was in the hospital but I meat the most beautiful woman in the world. She’s not only beautiful on the outside but she is on the inside to. A demon attacked her but I saved her from him *leaving out the part I almost got killed in the process* but anyways. She is letting me stay in her apartment. I cant believe it I just meat her and she’s letting me stay here. I’m really glad she is though now I can be near her. Although I have to keep my head straight. I can’t fall in love. Not the way my friend did he’s just a mess. Love isn’t worth it.

Piper didn’t know what to say. Leo had another love out their in this life. How could he do this to her? How could he have not told her about her?

*He loves her not you* The figure again appeared beside Piper. He now knew this would bring him a lot closer to his goal. Piper shook her head no Leo loved

her. Flipping forward a few pages she started to read more.

God I’ve been living her for a few months now. And yes I have broken the all time rule. I’ve fallen in love with a witch not just any witch though. A special one what am I going to do? I want to be with her more than anything! All I have thought about lately is clipping my wings. To be with her, grow old with her, and have children. I need her because without her my life is completely empty. But can I really clip my wings. Her powers will be activated soon and danger will follow. She is going to need all the help she can get to face this. Can I really clip my wings knowing I could have helped? Knowing she is off facing unimaginable danger. Knowing that she could die. No I

know I can’t face it if she where ever to die. I would blame myself for not being her whitelighter. I should have never gotten involved emotionally. That’s most whitelighters mottos. But somehow I never can do that and I get hurt for it every time. In the end it’s only going to be painful. I know that for a fact. I’m just going to enjoy it now while I have it. Treasure it tell I’m forced away. But who knows when that will be???

The figure was completely enjoying himself. After this she would be putty in his hand. She would say what she wanted and his task would be for filled.

Piper felt tears well up in her eyes. Her Leo had loved someone else. He had lied to her. Leo told her once that he had never NEVER thought of clipping his

wings. At least tell he meat Piper. But her it was in writing he wanted to clip his wings for this unknown lover. Piper didn’t know if she could take anymore but she couldn’t put down the small book. Something forced her to look on. So she flipped to the last page written on.

This will be the last time I write in you. For today has been the worst day of my life. I can still smell the salty air from the beach. See her soft brown hair magically floating in the air. Making her look more beautifully than ever, like an angel. The thunder of

waves still vividly engraved in my mind. Yes I did it today after I pledged my love to her. But you know the worse part is she doesn’t even remember. All the pain I am going threw right now she knows nothing of. Not that I want her to hurt or anything. No that’s the last thing in the world that I want. But I don’t want to be hurting either. You can’t even comprehend what I am feeling now. Its hard to do such simply things.

Talk, breath, eat, write…….. It’s all too much and to hard for me. I wanna just curl up in a ball and die. For I will never love anyone as much as I love her. So the question you are probably asking me now. Why do I go on then if my very soul has been ripped out from me? If the only reason for living has been denied to me. The answer isn’t totally clear to me but I do have one. Its because I can only hope that we where truly meant to be together. That we will cross paths again and will fall in love all over. So this is why I’m never going to give up. Because I was wrong before love is worth it.

Piper threw the book against the wall. Tears flooded down her cheeks. Things where going so well and this all come up.

“I HATE YOU! HOW COULD YOU TAKE MY HEART AND TEAR IT UP LIKE THIS!” She screamed. The dark figure just laughed *say it Piper say it!* he urged.

Suddenly blue and white orbs appeared. Leo formed from them smiling.

“Hey I missed you.” Leo commented going to Piper. She pushed him away and a stunned Leo stared at her.

“I HATE YOU!” She screamed again. Leo stepped back taken back by her outburst.

“What’s wrong Piper?” Leo asked concerned.

“I CANT BELIEVE YOU DID THIS TO ME! YOU SAID I WAS THE ONLY ONE YOU LOVED IN THIS LIFE TIME!! YOU SAID THAT YOU HAD NEVER THOUGHT OF CLIPPING YOUR WINGS TELL YOU MEAT ME!” Piper yelled more tears glistening her eyes.

“But Piper all those things are true.” Leo started.

“NOT ACCORDING TO THAT BOOK!” Piper replied pointing to the small object on the other side of the room. Leo looked at it and realized what it was from.

“Piper wait you don’t understand let me explain!”

“NO LEO IM SICK OF THE LIES AND THE TRYING TO EXPLAIN. ALL IVE EVER WANTED WAS A NORMAL LIFE. THEN YOU COME AND STEAL MY HEART ONLY TO BREAK IT. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME! I SHOULD HAVE PICKED DAN!!!

AT LEAST HE DIDN’T HAVE SO MANY SECRETS AND WAS ALWAYS THERE!” Piper exclaimed.

Leo’s eyes clouded with tears. His faced saddened and he felt like a knife had

pierced his heart. These words hurt him more than Piper could ever imagine.

Piper almost immediately regretted saying what she did. She knew she had hurt Leo a lot while being with Dan. No matter how mad she was she shouldn’t have said that.

“Maybe you……. Maybe you should have.” Leo’s voice cracked as he finally found it. “Guess I have nothing to stay here for then.” Leo said whipping his eyes. He

turned away from Piper and started to orb.

“LEO WAIT I DIDN’T MEAN IT.” Piper cried.

“Yes you did Piper. You wouldn’t have said it if you didn’t.” With that Leo disappeared for the last time in radiant blue lights. Piper fell to her knees crying

uncontrollably. How could she have done that?

The man stood besides Piper laughing hard. He had witnessed the whole fight and it had come out better than he had planned.

“Piper Halliwell What you want is what you shall get!” He exclaimed snapping his fingers.

The world around Piper started to spin. Her head pounding as she got dizzier and dizzier. The pain become more intense and Piper blacked out.

Hours later Piper stirred from the sleeping world. Strong arms held her tightly. She snuggled deeper into them and sighed happily. Suddenly memories of the day’s events evaded Piper’s mind. She tried to push them away thinking they where a bad nightmare but they wouldn’t leave. Piper’s eyes flew opening as she finally gave up the attempt to sleep. She turned to bury herself deeper into Leo’s embrace. She stared

wide-eyed at the person next to her. It wasn’t Leo but a very naked Dan. Piper jumped out of the bed shocked what was happening. A chill ran threw her and she looked down to her own body. She quickly grabbed a bathrobe covering her body.

“What the hell!” She exclaimed almost waking Dan. “I gotta find Prue and Phoebe.” Piper said running out of her room. She went into Prue’s room but to her surprise her sister where nowhere in site. In fact her room wasn’t even her room. It was filled with workout equipment. Piper rushed into Phoebe’s room hoping her youngest sister would still be there. She was rudely disappointed, as she found no sister there. Instead her room was made up as a nursery. Piper almost fainted what was going on.

After standing in confusion she finally decided the best thing to do was check the book of shadows. She ran upstairs to the attic hoping it was still there. To her dismay it was also gone.

“What am I going to do?” Piper asked letting a tear trickle down her cheek.

“What are you doing up here?” Someone asked from the doorway. Piper turned around to find Dan looking at her.

“Ummmm no reason.” Piper replied.

Dan walked closer to her and wrapped his arms around her. Piper felt a coldness in his hug that had never been there when she was dating him. Dan brought her closer and kissed her passionately. Piper pushed Dan away not sure what else to do. All she knew was that she couldn’t do this with Dan. Her heart belonged to Leo and always would.

“WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!!” Dan yelled getting angry.

“I’m sorry Dan but….” Piper didn’t know how to tell him this.

“BITCH YOU NEVER PULL AWAY FROM ME!” With that he slapped her acrossed the face.

Piper stared at Dan shocked how could he do that. Tears glistened her eyes

as her cheek started to sting. A satisfied Dan walked out leaving Piper practically in tears.

As soon as Piper got herself together she ran downstairs grabbing her keys. Which where surprisingly in the same place as they always where. She quickly got in her car before Dan could find her. She had to get away find Prue, Phoebe, or Leo she needed them.

Piper drove to 415 magazine hoping that Prue still worked there.

“Excuse me does Prue Halliwell work here?!?!” Piper exclaimed to the lady at the desk.

“Yes but she is in the middle of…..” Before she could finish Piper ran off in the direction of the meeting room. She opened the door to find Prue and other photographers looking at some slides. Prue turned to her sister in utter shock.

“What in the world are you doing we are in a meeting here!?!” One of the men yelled.

“I’m sorry this is my sister I have to go.” Prue replied picking up her stuff. She walked out of the office with Piper at her side.

“Oh god Prue!” Piper sighed wrapping her arms tightly around her oldest sister. Prue looked puzzled at the middle Halliwell.

“What do you need Piper? I don’t have any more money to give you. You can’t keep using me like this.” Prue said pulling away from Piper.

“I I don’t want any money. I need your help Prue.” Piper replied.

“With what?” Prue questioned.

“Can we talk about it while we drive?” Piper replied as they headed towards the car. Piper handed Prue her keys and got in the passenger side. Prue got in the drivers seat and started the car.

“So are you going to tell me what this is about?” Prue questioned pulling out of the parking lot. “And were are we going?”

“Just drive anywhere but the manor.” Piper answered. After a long pause then she continued, “Ok today I woke up in bed next to to Dan.” Piper explained.

“This was your big emergency?” Prue stated annoyed.

“WELL YES!!!” Piper yelled getting frustrated.

“Ok explain why then.” Prue replied getting her cool back.

“I don’t know what happened. One minute I’m fighting with Leo the next I’m in bed with Dan!” Piper exclaimed.

“I’m confused.” Prue stated she was getting annoyed at Piper. She had pulled her out of an important meeting for nothing. Piper sighed not knowing how to

explain. After all she didn’t even know what happened.

“Ok let me ask a question. Why are you not surprised I was in bed with Dan?”

“Because he is your boyfriend.”

“No he isn’t Leo is.” Piper argued stressing the point.

“Nooooo you picked Dan not Leo. Although you should have picked Leo.” Prue whispered.

“Wait I picked Dan. No that’s not what happened where I’m from. Somehow I’ve changed worlds or plains or something.” Piper concluded finally getting some stuff

to make sense.

“Hmmmm so your telling me that you have no idea what has happened in the past?” Prue questioned started to figure it out herself.

“I dunno depending on how much of your reality happened in mine.” Piper replied. Suddenly Prue stopped the car in front of a white house.

“Come on.” Prue got out and headed for the door.

“Wait where are we?” Piper questioned.

“This is my house.” Prue unlocked the door and let Piper in. “You sit on the couch while I’ll get the book.” Prue said running upstairs.

Piper looked at the room before her. It wasn’t much a couch, a chair, small TV, and a table. A few pictures lined the mantel place. Piper noticed one of herself and Prue. One of all three of the girls and another of a man she didn’t recognize.

“That’s Eric.” Prue stated coming down the stairs book in hand.

“I don’t know him.” Piper sat down next with Prue.

“Ok first order of business we should probably tell each other about our worlds.” Prue concluded.

“Ok I guess I’ll go first. Well I live in the manor you, Phoebe, and I. We are witches you can move things, Phoebe has premonitions, and I can freeze things. Leo is our whitelighter and I am dating him. He lost his wings then got them back. We are still

working threw our problems but I love him with all my heart.” Piper gave Prue the cliff notes of her life.

“Wow it sounds wonderful.” Prue sighed.

“Hardly.” Piper replied.

“Well guess what our life is like here! Its hell that’s what!” Prue exclaimed she was getting mad. Mad that Piper knew a life much better than this. Mad that she was taking it for granted.

“What? Why? What’s it like her?” Piper questioned surprised by her sisters outburst. Prue calmed herself down it wasn’t Pipers fault that her life sucked. Or

was it?

“Well after Leo saved your life and lost his wings you picked Dan. Leo stayed around a little but let you have your space. Probably because it hurt him to see you guys together. One night at the club Phoebe stayed late to help Leo cleaning up. She left alone and was attacked by something. She she she didn’t make it.” Prue let tears stream down her cheeks. She hadn’t cried since it happened she had bottled it all up

inside. Piper stared at her like she insane.

“How could this happen?” Piper asked shocked.

“After that you you become more and more distant from me. I guess it wasn’t all your fault. I didn’t make an extra effort everything has just been to hard. When

Phoebe…… when she went you decided to never help another innocent with your magic. After all it hadn’t helped Phoebe.” Prue explained she paused whipping her

eyes. Piper had tears glistening her own eyes. Prue wasn’t sure if she should tell her the rest.

“What else is different?” Piper asked afraid of the answer.

“Well shortly shortly after Phoebe Leo…………” Prue couldn’t finish seeing Pipers face fall when his name was mentioned.

“Oh god oh god please no tell me he’s not dead tell

me please.” Piper pleaded.

“No he’s not dead.” Prue answered.

“Thank god.” Piper sighed.

“He was attack and has serious injuries he ummmm is in a coma at the hospital.”

“Oh………… my………… god.” That’s all Piper could manage between sobs. Why was she brought here where all her loved ones where hurting?

A while later Pipers sobs quieted. Prue tired to comfort her pulling her close to her. She wasn’t doing a very good job being out of practice. She hadn’t had a sister cry on her shoulder in a long time.

“I want to see him.” Piper stated forcefully as she pulled away from Prue.

“Are you sure?” Prue asked uncertain. What good would this do but to make her sadder?

“Yes there was a reason I was sent here. And as much as I hate this I have to find a way to fix it. I have to find a way back to my Leo and and my world.” Prue

nodded understanding. After all why would anybody want to stay in this world?

“I’ll bring you then.” Prue replied grabbing her coat and pocketbook. Piper followed her out the door to the car.

Most of the ride was spent in silence. Piper stared out the window thinking how different her life could have been. A tear trickled down her cheek. She quickly

whipping it away reminding herself she had to stay strong. There would be plenty of time to cry in Leo’s arms when she got back. She hoped at least.

Prue kept her eyes on the road not sure what to say. The silence was almost unbearable. There was so much Prue wanted to express to her sister but this Piper

wouldn’t understand any of it. She wouldn’t understand how much Prue was hurting. How much it hurt when Piper pulled away and Phoebe was killed. Prue blinked back a

few tears promising herself to be strong.

“We’re here.” Prue stated glad for the distraction.

She didn’t know how much more she could have taken before spilling her guts to Piper.

Piper sighed deeply looking at the large building in front of her. Prue got out of the car and waited a few minutes for Piper to get out. She finally did and both

girls walked in.

“Ummm I I guess I’ll wait here.” Prue stated.

Piper nodded staring at the door in front of her. She paused at the doorway not sure she was ready for this. After taking a deep breath she stepped into the room.

“You can’t leave me.” Piper heard someone say.

She gasped as she saw someone sitting next to Leo.

“Julie?” She questioned recognizing her.

Julie stood up and faced Piper. Piper throw her arms around Julie she hadn’t thought she would see her.

“Get off of me!” Julie exclaimed pushing Piper away.

Piper cringed at the coldness in her emerald eyes.

“Jul it’s its me Piper.” Piper stated not understanding what was wrong besides the obvious.

“I know who the hell you are! You’re the girl that ripped my brothers heart out and tore it into a million pieces! You’re the one who put him here and you haven’t even visited in months! Go away before you hurt him more!” Julie exclaimed fiery shown strongly threw out her features.

“I I I……” Piper didn’t know what to say. All these things where true according to Prue. Tears welled up in Piper’s eyes she stared down at Leo. “He’s so pale.” She  whispered so no one could hear. “What have I done?” Prue entered she had heard yelling and was worried. She immediately knew what happened when she saw Julie there and Piper in tears.

“Don’t you think you’ve done enough to him?” Julie asked having no sympathy for her. She had seen how destroyed she had left Leo.

“Julie that’s enough you you don’t understand.” Prue interrupted.

“You know what I don’t care if I understand. All I know is if Leo dies I will be all alone!” Julie replied.

Prue understood where she was coming from. In all the time that had gone by Prue had visited Leo often. Meeting Julie many times during this period they had come pretty close. But Prue knew how Julie felt about Piper. She also knew how much pain Julie had inside she was afraid of being alone. Still Piper didn’t know any of this and didn’t deserve to be yelled at.

“Please Julie can you give us some time here.” Prue pleaded. Julie sighed staring back to Leo.

“I have to get to work anyways.” She muttered going back to Leo’s side. She leaned over and kissed him softly on the cheek. “I'll be back later I promise. Hang on…… I love you.” Julie whispered softly. The words could barely be made out. She then turned into a brilliant light show of blue and disappeared.

“God everything she said it it was so true….” Piper stated.

“Don’t mind Julie she’s just scared and alone.” Prue explained.

“What about Lucas?” Piper asked sitting down in the chair Julie had been in. She brushed her hand against Leo’s. Piper gasped at the touch of his skin. It was so warm and clammy like his skin was on fire.

“Lucas?” Prue questioned not recognizing the name.

“God do they know he’s burning up?” Piper asked not even hearing Prue. All that was in her mind was how deadly sick Leo looked.

“Yes they have tried everything to bring it down. It it just won’t let up.” Prue replied tears reflected in her own eyes.

“Oh Leo I’m so sorry.” Piper whispered. Running her hand along his cheek. “I’ll fix this some how. Hmmm you know how much I love you right?” She gently placed

her lips on Leo’s. She desperately whished he would return the kiss but all that was there was emptiness. He was so full of emptiness Piper couldn’t take it. “Leo please come back to me.” Piper sobbed placing her head on his lap. “I can’t live without you.”

Uncontrollable tears ran down her cheeks. She held on to Leo’s hand tightly hoping by some miracle he would return to her.

Prue stared on not knowing what to do. Should she comfort Piper? Or let her be?

“Leo come back for everyone’s sake.” She whispered to herself.

Not being able to take the emotion in the room Prue quickly exited. She leaned against the wall in the  hallway. As long as no one bothered her she had been able to bottle up all her emotions. But now that Piper was here everything bottled wanted to burst

open.

“Get yourself together.” Prue said harshly to herself. She rushed into the bathroom so that no one could see her in this moment of weakness.

Piper sighed walking out of Leo’s room. She whipped away her tears and leaned against the wall.

“I’ll find a way Leo I promise I love you.” She whispered. “Maybe there is a spell or something I have to find Prue.” Piper then walked off in search of her sister.

Unnoticed by Piper a dark figure stood in a corner behind her. He gripped his fist so tightly that his own skin broke. He cursed looking down to his hands.

“That’s it its time to take things into my own hands!” He exclaimed.

Evilness glazed all over his features. He walked swiftly over to the door Piper had

come from. He entered anger flaring up even more.

“If Piper had just stayed away and loved me. You’re the cause of all my problems. You just won’t die…… Well you will today.” He laughed devishly brown hair falling into his eyes.

He carefully took out a syringe. He eyed it smiling knowing exactly what this would do. It would slow down all Leo’s body functions until they completely stop. It wasn’t a terrible painful death, which he would prefer. But it was good enough for the time period he had. After a long pause as if he was teasing him. He finally injected the

liquid into Leo. It poured into his flesh mixing with the blood inside. He waited a few minutes knowing it would take a few seconds for the injection to work. After another minute or two the heart monitor started slowing down. He smiled knowing his deed was done. He quickly put the syringe back into his pocket so no evidence would be found. Then exited before anybody could see him.

Piper walked slowly back to Leo’s room. She had no luck in the cafeteria finding Prue. A doctor rushed past her almost knocking her coffee over.

“YEAH EXCUSE YOU TWO!” She exclaimed annoyed. How rude could you be?

Her heart stopped as she saw what room he rushed into. Three nurses rushed in after him. She was stun, couldn’t move. Like she was stuck in one place… one moment for the rest of her life. The coffee dropped from her hands making a loud echo. Suddenly

her legs worked and she found herself running. Everything was in slow motion. She skidded to a stop reaching Leo’s room.

“He’s not responding to the CPR.” The doctor exclaimed to the nurse. “I need that crash guard.”

“Leo….” Piper gasped tears stinging her eyes. Prue came rushing next to her.

“What happened!?!” She exclaimed staring at the doctors. Piper grabbed onto Prue not being able to hold herself up.

“Come on stay with us.” The doctor urged knowing it was useless. Leo’s heart had stopped to long ago.

“Call it.”

“Time of death….. 3:04 pm.”

“Nooo Leo…..!” Piper exclaimed tears running widely down her cheeks. She tried to get to him but Prue pulled her back. She wrapped her arms tightly around Piper as they both fell to their knees. “He can’t die Prue…” She cried burying her head in her hair.

“Everything will be ok.” Prue soothed tears running from her own eyes. “Can you give us a minute.” Prue whispered to the on looking doctor. He nodded, he and

the rust of the staff left. Finally Piper got herself under control. She stared blankly at Leo lying in the bed. Something made her move forward and she sat next to him. Piper ran her hand along his cheek, which was cold now.

“I’m so sorry.” She whispered another tear trickling down her face. “This isn’t the end…. I am going to get back to my world.. Where we can be together.” She

kissed his cheek lightly running her hand threw his hair one last time. “I love you always.” She whispered getting back up. Prue watched in amazement at how strong this Piper was. Maybe it was the hope that she still had a chance. She didn’t know but it felt good not having to be the strongest all the time. “Lets go.” She muttered walking out of his room one last time, Prue followed.

“What now?” Prue asked as the two girls walked to Prue’s car.

“We have to check the book again.” Piper replied getting into the car. Prue nodded following her sister only into the drivers seat.

“I’m sure we will fix this.” Prue sighed seeing her sister’s far off gaze out the window. Tears threatening to fall once again.

“We have to.” She uttered not looking towards Prue.

Prue started the car and drove to her house. Once again they sat in silence on the way there. Thoughts ran threw each of there minds losing hope that they would find a way.

“Well the sooner we start looking the sooner you go home.” Prue whispered pulling up the car in the driveway.

Piper only nodded hoping that statement was true. Both girls got out of the car and headed into the house. Inside the girls search for many hours threw the book. Researching it again after the first time. Nothing seemed to fit this particular problem.

“God damit why doesn’t it have a spell to bring me home! I just want to go home for god sakes!” Piper exclaimed getting frustrated she threw the book against the wall punishing it for not helping her.

“Piper hurting the book is not going to help.” Prue sighed picking up the already damaged book of shadows.

“Well it sure hasn’t done anything useful!” Piper yelled tears welling up in her eyes. “Prue I'm never going to get home am I?” Piper said lowing her voice as she fell back onto the couch.

“Don’t give up. I won’t give up tell you are safe and sound at home.” Prue encouraged wrapping her arms around Piper. “Things have to get better.” Piper

sighed burying her head into Prues embrace.

“But there’s nothing in the book now what?” Piper questioned her voice quavering.

“Ok well lets analyze what happen before we continue. Now what exactly happened before you came here?” Prue questioned.

“Well I found something of Leo’s and and it upset me. I started yelling at him and didn’t give him a chance to explain. I said some really terrible things to him.” Piper answered thinking of that horrible fight.

“Ok what did you say?” Prue asked trying to figure out what exactly happened to bring her here.

“I I said that I should have picked Dan because he was always there and honest but but I didn’t mean it.” Piper replied frantically. As if she was trying to convince Prue of it.

“That’s it then. Here you picked Dan someone is showing you how your life would be if you picked Dan. Showing you how lucky you are.” Prue exclaimed finally

understanding why Piper was here.

“God I was so ungrateful.” Piper muttered feeling tears well up in her eyes. Suddenly the book of shadows started to flip widely. It stopped on a page that read “Trickery Demon”

“Trickery Demon?” Piper questioned.

“A demon who destroys people by making things they say come true. Changing what has already happened for the worst.” Prue concluded reading the rest of it.

“But it doesn’t say how to vanquish it!” Piper exclaimed getting frustrated again.

“Don’t lose hope I think I saw more about this demon once in Phoebe’s book.” Prue suggested whipping away Pipers tears. She tangled her fingers gentle threw her

hair.

“Phoebe’s book?” Piper questioned pulling away a bit. She whipped her red eyes trying to get them return normal.

“Yeah Phoebe found a magic book in the past once. She brought it back and it’s been very helpful. Sometimes more helpful than the book of shadows. But since Phoebe…. Since she passed on no one has touched the book. So its somewhere in Phoebes room. There’s a loose board in her floor I think that’s where she use

to keep it. I’ll go get it and we can keep searching.” Prue exclaimed smiling a bit.

“I'll come with you.” Piper replied getting up.

“No Dan might be there and I think he’s the last person you wanna see right?” Prue stated pulling her jacket on. Piper sighed knowing Prue was right.

“Hurry back.” Piper said giving Prue a hug.

“I will.” Prue whispered heading out the door.

Prue stood in front of the manor. She really hated this place there where to many memories. She sighed knowing she had to go in. Taking out her keys she unlocked the

door. Luckily Piper and Dan hadn’t changed the locks since Prue moved out. Prue moved quickly to what was once Phoebe’s room. She was surprised to see it made

up as a nursery.

“What in the world?” She muttered running her fingertips along some of the stuffed animals in the room. “Piper never said anything.” She sighed sadly thinking how drifted apart they had gotten. “How could  she turn Phoebe’s room into a nursery! Phoebe’s!” Prue exclaimed getting anger. Did her sister have no consideration?

She pushed all these thoughts out of her head reminding herself of her mission. She pulled the loose carpet that lined the middle of the floor. After searching a few minutes she found the loose board and pulled it out. They’re the book lie. She sighed in relief that Piper had not touched it. She pulled it out gently placing it on the floor beside

her. Prue then placed the board back in and covered the floor with the rug.

“Prue.” Someone said from behind her. Prue jumped a mile and turned around. There stood Dan in front of her.

“Oh hey I didn’t hear you.” Prue replied.

“What are you doing here?” He questioned an evilness so cold ran threw his voice. Prue shivered at it becoming almost afraid herself.

“I’m just picking something up of Phoebes. But I really have to go I have to work.” Prue replied heading for the door where Dan stood. He didn’t move out of the way for Prue to leave.

“Prue prue prue…. Dear Prue….. It would have been safer to stay out of all this.” He said running his hands threw his hair. His eyes seem to glow a dark red.

“Don’t mess with me Dan.” Prue said not in the mood for this. She hated Dan over the years he had really changed into a maniac. She had tired to warn Piper but

she hadn’t listened.

“Oh you think I’m scared of you Prue.” Dan laughed pushing her back. She motioned with her eyes but gasped when it didn’t work. “Ha your pathetic powers

won’t work on me.” Dan replied knowing exactly what she was trying to do.

“How how do you know?” Prue gasped.

“Oh Prue little naïve Prue I’ve known for such a long time.” Dan replied pulling out something from his pocket.

Prue gasped in horror as Dan come closer gun in hand. She tried to make a break for it but he pushed he back against the wall harder. He ran his fingers threw her elegant hair. She cringed in horror as he ran his hands up her back. Dan pushed his lips roughly onto Prue’s. She let out a cry as he bit her lip. He pushed her back onto the wall more forcefully tearing the buttons from her shirt. Prue knew what was going to happen if she didn’t do something. She motioned with her eyes to the lamp. It came flying knocking into Dan’s head. He collapsed onto the floor. Tears escaped Prues eyes as she ran down the stairs to the manor. She quickly opened the door to go leave

this hell. As she tried to step outside a force threw her back into the wall. Prue fought hard to keep consciousness but she slowly slipped off.

“She should have been back by now!” Piper exclaimed panicked. She couldn’t take it if something happened to Prue. She was her only hope in this world. “I have

to get to the manor.” Piper concluded she grabbed her coat and went outside. Only then did she realize that she didn’t have a car. “Damit!” Piper yelled frustrated. She came back in and sighed what now? “The book a spell or something.” Piper thought opening the book. She quickly flipped throw it trying to find anything that may be useful.

Prue opened her eyes slightly. She found that she couldn’t see at all. A cloth had been placed over her eyes to keep her from using telekinesis. She tried to get up but found her hands tightly hand cuffed to something.

“Aww sleeping beauty has awakened.” Dan laughed sitting down next to Prue. She could feel the warmth of his body on hers. “So Prue…. How do you want to die?” He whispered into her ear.

His warm breath graced Prue's neck making her tense more. Tears wet the cloth on Prue’s eyes. Soft sobs could be heard coming from her. “I always wondered what you where like.” Dan whispered running his hand up her thigh.

His hands moved up to her waist. Never taking his eyes off the trembling Prue he moved on top of her. She cried harder as she felt the pressure of his body on top of hers. He played with the zipper to her pants teasing her.

“Stop… please don’t.” Prue gasped as he slid her pants off.

“Stop I’ve just begun.” He whispered evilly. He moved up to her neck, she cried out in pain as he bit down.

Dan threw off his shirt and pants as he ran his hands on every inch of Prue's body. He then tore of her shirt and removed her bra. He continued with her as she cried out for help.

“Spell spell any kind of spell!” Piper exclaimed desperately. She had a bad feeling something just wasn’t right. Not that anything in this world was.

“Please help come on.” She sighed heavily leaning up onto the couch. Why did everything have to be so complicated? Piper searched the book for another good

half hour. “YES! A teleporting spell!” Piper exclaimed. She stood up book in hands.

To the place I desire to go*

Piper appeared downstairs in the living room of the manor. She cringed at the eerie feeling that seeped into her. She closed her eyes unable to move her legs. Finally she found movement and headed upstairs. First she checked “Prue’s room” finding nothing. In “Phoebe’s room the same thing was evident. She then went into her own room. Piper almost fated at the sight. Uncontrollable tears ran down her cheeks. Her sister was there cloth less handcuffed to the bed. Blood everywhere, she almost gagged at it. Piper didn’t think she had ever seen so much blood. Piper ran to Prue as she coughed up more blood.

“Piper… Get get…. Out of here.” Prue gasped. Piper ripped of the blindfold on Prue’s eyes. She took her hand and held it tightly.

“Shhh I’m not leaving you. Your… your you going to be ok.” Piper replied trying to keep herself calm.

Piper knew her words where a lie no amount of medical help would ever save her sister. Maybe physically but certainly not mentally.

“I I love you….. I’m so…. Sorry…..” Prue rasped tears mixing with her blood.

“I love you two I love you so much. God Prue I I can’t do this. Please please don’t leave me!” Piper cried desperately trying to keep Prue awake.

“I’m sorry…… I I have to leave.” Prue’s body went limp in Pipers arms. She sobbed holding her tighter.

“Please no Prue…. I I don’t wanna be alone in this world!”

“Oh God Prue no.” Piper cried out holding onto her tightly. She couldn’t let go for if she did then she would truly be alone in this world.

“It’s a shame isn’t it?” A cold voice stated from behind Piper. Shivers ran down Pipers back for she knew who it was.

“Dan.” Piper whispered harshly.

She stood up to face him. She gasped at the blood that marked his bare chest. Piper turned back to look at Prue. Tears ran down her eyes.

“YOU ASSWHOLE YOU DID THIS TO HER!” Piper cried out furious. How could anybody be that heartless? How could anybody do something like that? “WHY…. WHY DID YOU DO THIS!!!” Piper yelled tears freely falling fast.

“Its all your fault Piper. I wouldn’t have done any of these things if it weren’t for you. But no you wouldn’t love me I saw the way you looked at Leo.” Dan replied pulling out the gun from his pocket. Piper cringed knowing her time was running short.

“Oh… my… god.” Piper uttered in shock. Dan smiled evilly knowing the fog was finally lifting. “You….. you killed Leo two.” Piper cried out finally realizing the truth.

“Your slow for a charmed one.” Dan stated pushing her back against the wall. “You just couldn’t stop loving him. PIPER DID YOU THINK I WAS STUPID!! I saw threw your lies. And now look what you made me do! You killed your whole family.” Dan laughed putting pressure on her neck that laid in his hands.

Piper gasped trying to get air into her system. Dan's grip lessoned a bit, he wasn’t done with her yet. She wouldn’t die tell she knew it was all her fault.

“Wait…. My family? You oh god you killed Phoebe two.” Piper sobbed her whole family was gone, destroyed. By the anger and obsession of one man.

“Phoebe was getting in the way…. Remember that night Piper? Remember?” Dan said forcefully pushing harder on Pipers throat. Flash backs from that day rang threw her head. Things that she herself couldn’t have known since she was not there.

“I’m going to go home Leo.. Phoebe can you stay here and clean up?” Piper asked slipping her coat on. Leo nodded as he started on the bar.

“Sure.” Pheebs replied heading over to help Leo.

“Sweetie are you coming home now?” Piper questioned.

“Yeah just let me get my jacket.” Dan replied pointing to her office. “You go on ahead and wait in the car.” Piper headed outside while Dan went into the office.

Leo was staring at the door Piper had excited.

“Leo…?” Phoebe questioned waving a hand in front of his face. This brought him out of his daze.

“Oh sorry.” He replied turning his attention to Pheebs.

“Don’t worry Leo…. Piper loves you… I know she does… She just needs sometime to find it out. Dan isn’t the one for her and we both know it.” Phoebe said softly trying to ease Leo’s pain. She knew he was hurting inside. Whenever Dan and Piper where near each other it burned a whole threw anyone’s stomach.

“Thanks Pheebs.” Leo sighed as they hugged.

Dan barged out of the office hurrying out the door. He had heard the whole conversation. He gripped his coat tightly feeling anger surge all over.

“Hey there.” Piper greeted as he opened the car door. His eyes glowed evilly Piper cringed at the color. “Are you ok?” She questioned.

“Fine but on second thought I’m staying here for a while.” Dan stated leaving a bewildered Piper.

When Dan was sure Piper was gone he opened the door to P3 a crack. There he could hear the rest of Leo’s and Phoebe’s conversation.

“It’s been a really long day.” Phoebe sighed pausing a minute to catch her breath. Leo looked up and saw how dreadfully tired she was.

“Pheebs it’s late and you look dead. Go home I can take care of this.” Leo replied.

“Leo this isn’t even your club. I shouldn’t leave.” Phoebe answered.

“Go I won’t take no for an answer.” Leo insisted.

Phoebe sighed in defeat. She was too tired to fight a losing battle.

“Alright I’ll see you tomorrow.” Phoebe said kissing Leo on the cheek. “Thanks.” She then exited.

Phoebe pulled her coat closer to her as the wind  picked up. Chills ran down her spine making her a tad nervous. She quickened her pace knowing the manor was only but a few blocks from here. A noise from behind Phoebe made her spin around. She stared out into the dark nothingness that lay behind her. Pheebs squinted a bit trying to pick up any movement. “I really need a car.” Phoebe muttered turning around. To her surprise someone grasped her wrists pinning her to a wall. Fear ran threw her eyes as a blade ran across her neck.

“Time to die.” The attacker whispered his breath falling upon Phoebe’s neck.

She cringed as pressure was put upon the knife. She struggled to get out of

the tight grasp but it was no use. The more she tried to get away the harder he would push. Finally the lack of air was getting to her. She knew darkness would follow soon. Phoebe squinted trying to concentrate on who her killer was. If she was going to die she wanted to at least know who did it. She gasped as a ray of moonlight danced upon his face.

“Dan.” She managed to choke out.

He laughed thrusting the knife into her stomach. Unbearable pain waver all threw her body as he twisted the knife back and fourth. Her eyes become wide pleading for him to stop. Blood drained from her body covering herself and Dan. Her legs finally gave out and she dropped to the ground. She held onto consciousness tightly. He smiled

evilly kneeing in front of her. Dan then brought the knife back up to her throat. With one quick movement the life force drained from Phoebe. She took her last

breath her spirit lifting from her body…

“How could you do that to Phoebe?” Piper asked. The flashes had seemed so long but only an instant went by. “She she… never did anything wrong…. She she

didn’t deserve that… Phoebe she she had such a bright… bright future ahead of her.” Piper cried looking for any sign of the Dan that had been her friend.

“Your right she didn’t deserve that. But Piper its all your fault you did it to her.” Dan replied… “I was going to leave it there…. But then you betrayed me in the biggest way imaginable.”

Piper sat in her room no more tears left. She kept ongoing threw her head how she could have done things differently. If she had just stayed or or….. A knock at the door interrupted her thoughts.

“Come in.” Piper choked not having used her voice for a while. It hurt to do anything because everything reminded her of Phoebe. Yes it had been four months.

Exactly four months to the day. But it didn’t seem to get easier.

“Hey.” Leo greeted softly opening the door a creek.

Prue had called Leo to try and get threw to Piper. She knew if anybody could do it it would be Leo, not Dan. Prue needed her sister more than anything at the moment. “Do you umm want me to go?” Leo questioned after getting no answer.

Piper smiled weakly and patted the bed next to her. Leo took this as a sign and sat next to her. A few minutes of awkward silence went by. There was so much Leo wanted to say, so much he wanted to do to make things ok for Piper. Although

he knew he couldn't make this pain go magically away.

“God I miss her.” Leo whispered not knowing what else to say.

“Me two.” Piper replied.

She placed her hands in his glad that she had someone to talk to. Sure Prue was

there but she needed something different. She needed her guardian angel who could just hold her and make things ok.

“I keep thinking if I had done things differently. Just walked home with her… Or make her help me.” Leo sighed. He knew this wouldn’t help Piper any. But the pain was still there and he had to get it out.

“I know me two…. But but we didn’t and and there’s no reason thinking about what ifs. Phoebe she she would want us to move on.” Piper replied they locked eyes

and something magical went threw them. Piped leaned her head closer to Leo’s. She needed his scent, his embrace, his everything. They pushed closer their lips locking. Love and passion was what the rest of the night was about. Forgetting about all their worries and just relishing in each other’s embrace. That night was heaven but it was also the beginning of hell.

“PIPER YOU SELPT WITH HIM! YOU BITCH! AND YOU THOUGHT I DIDN’T KNOW!” Dan screamed now more outraged than before. With his free hand he slapped her across the face. A stinging tingling feeling throbbed threw her cheek. “And you got pregnant. YOU SAID THE BABY WAS MY BUT I KNOW IT WAS LEO’S! I HEARD YOU THAT NIGHT WITH PRUE!”

“Prue, Prue, Prue!” Piper exclaimed, “Get in here!”

“What!?!” Prue muttered entertaining Piper’s office.

“Shut the door.” Piper ordered. Prue sighed shutting the door behind her.

“What!?!” Prue exclaimed after a long pause. Piper had her helping out at the bar with Leo and she really had to get back.

“I I am I am….” Piper started not being able to finish.

“You are!?!” Prue replied trying to get her sister to hurry up.

“PREGAUNT!” Piper blurted out. Prue stood there in silence trying to process the information. After a while a huge smile crept upon her face.

“OH MY GOD PIPER!! THIS IS WONDERFUL!!” Prue exclaimed bringing Piper in for a huge hug. “Who’s ummm well….?” Prue questioned.

“The father…?” Piper replied. Prue had known for a long time that ever since that night Piper and Leo still had something special. She didn’t know if they really did it but she had a feeling.

“Its Leo.” Piper conformed a smile dancing across her face.

“Yes.” Prue sighed in relief… “Ummm I mean…”

“I know Prue I know.” Piper answered hugging Prue once again.

“So ummm what about Dan?”

“I have to break up with him he’s just not the one.” Piper replied. Her heart was soaring she would finally get to be with her love. “I’ll do it tomorrow I’m way to tired to do it tonight.” Piper stated.

Dan was more furious than ever. He had again managed to listen to their conversation. He would get his revenge on Leo.

“I knew you would break it off the next day. So I had to do something that night. When you left….” Piper’s eyes clouded over further with tears.

“How can anybody be so monstrous!?!” She spitefully yelled.

“Its easy.” Dan replied his eyes gleaming with evil.

“He was actually easier than I thought.” Dan laughed. Anger rage threw Piper. “Once I hit him from behind he was out like a light. If Prue hadn’t errrr I would have easily finished him off. But no Prue had to came in. So I couldn’t finish or she would see me.”

Dan's voice was drowned out from Piper. She couldn’t listen anymore. Her vision become blurred a bit, her body trembled. She knew she was going to see more off what happened. She braced herself for the visions as they came.

“Oh god…” Prue uttered staring down at the club floor.

Blood traced the ground everywhere. Prue was in shock she couldn’t move. After a minute her legs let loose allowing her to move. She quickly knelt down to Leo.

“Leo!” She exclaimed trying to wake him up.

After getting no response she grabbed a towel. She placed it on one of the deep wounds that had already allowed too much blood to escape. “Please Leo don’t do this to Piper. She needs you… She is coming back to you. You and her are going to have a beautiful child. You can’t miss that Leo you can’t.” Prue pleaded as she searched

for her cell phone. She grabbed it and hurriedly dialed 911.

“Please I’m at P3 my friend is hurt!” Prue exclaimed before the operator even could great her.

“Try and stay calm Miss.” The operator replied back. “An ambulance is on its way.” Prue calmed herself a bit. The minutes it took for the ambulance to show seemed like hours.

Prue ran her hands threw her hair nervously. It had been two hours after she found Leo. She was unable to contact Piper for some reason. Terrible thoughts ran threw her head, What if he dies? Piper will fall apart. God why didn’t I stay with him. I could have

helped out at the club. Why Leo? He never hurt anyone… God first Pheebs and now Leo! It isn’t fair! These thoughts screamed threw her head. She rubbed her temples trying to get rid of her pounding head ach.

“Prue!” Piper exclaimed running to greet her sister. “God Prue are you ok! Are you hurt?” She asked frantically searching for anything wrong with her sister. She had gotten the message that Prue had left saying she was at the hospital.

Piper gasped Prue looked horrible blood all over her. Tears staining her beautiful face rubbing of her make up. Piper felt a rush of fear run threw her.

“Why isn’t a doctor looking at you!” Piper exclaimed becoming angry. Prue

couldn’t seem to find her voice. She didn’t know how you told someone something like this. “Prue honey what happened? What did this to you?” Piper pleaded calming herself a bit. She wrapped her arms around Prue.

“Piper I’m I’m not hurt……” Prue started.

“But there is blood all over you?” Piper replied.

“Its its not mine….” Prue answered. Piper waited for her to go on but become even more alarmed when she didn’t.

“Prue you’re scaring me…. Who’s who’s is it?”

“Its….. Le….” Prue didn’t have to finish the sentence. Pipers face fell tears glistening her eyes. She closed them trying to force the tears away. But they wouldn’t go they ran down her cheeks.

“Is… he he ok?” Piper questioned afraid of the answer. From the looks of things the news wasn’t good.

“The doctor… He says that it’s very serious. He he was able to stabilize Leo but they don’t know for how long…..” Prue explained what the doctors had told her. “He he lost a lot of blood.” That was all Piper could take she broke down into tears. Prue pulled Piper close running her hands threw her hair. “Leo is strong…. He can pull threw.” Prue tried to sooth.

“I can’t go threw this again. I can’t lose another person…… He has to be ok…. He he has to be here for our child….. and and me.” Piper cried grasping onto Prue tightly.

“He will you know he doesn’t want to leave you.” Prue replied. She wanted to believe that everything would be ok. But she had saw Leo and he looked horrible.

“Can can I see him?” Piper questioned pulling away from her.

“Yes.” Piper followed Prue to a hospital room. “He’s in in there.” Prue stated pointing to the door.

Piper nodded she wanted Prue to come but knew she had to do this alone. Leo deserved that much. Piper pushed open the door slightly wanting so desperately for this to be but only a nightmare.

“Call me if you need me.” Prue whispered softly.

Piper step into the room. Her heart stopped beating at the sight of him. He looked

as if he was already dead.

Piper screamed pushing the image out of her head. She couldn’t stand to see Leo looking like that.

“YOU ASSWHOLE!” Piper exclaimed trying to Dan trying to get out of his grasp. Things came into clear view for Piper. She remembered everything as if it was her own past. Which she was starting to believe it was. “So you beat me to stop me from seeing him. And I pulled away from Prue. She didn’t understand she she thought I didn’t care for her.” Piper laughed at her own stupidity. Why would she stay quiet why wouldn’t she have gone to Prue? Nobody could answer that  question but the Piper of this world. “Then when you saw me with him again you you finished Leo off.” Piper realized as the events of the day caught up with her. “Then Prue came here. And and and you…….”

“She was good.” Dan laughed. Piper went furious nobody hurt her family like that.

“BASTER!” She screamed getting one of her hands out of his grip. She swung it striking him in the face.

He jumped back being surprised at her attack. Hatred ran threw Pipers eyes. She had never hated anybody this much before. She kneed him and he collapse on to the

ground.

“That’s for Phoebe!” She yelled, “This is for Leo and Prue!” She yelled even louder kicking him even harder. Tears escaped her eyes she couldn’t stand to look at him anymore. She dashed out of the house running downstairs. “Shit!” Piper exclaimed seeing the forcefeild at the door and at every window. “How am I supposed to get out?” She questioned.

“YOU DON’T!” Dan exclaimed punching her in the stomach. She gasped falling to the ground. She held her stomach as the pain waver threw her body. “YOU BITCH!” Dan yelled pulling her to her feet. He pushed her against the wall. He yanked the gun from his pocket and jammed it again into Pipers stomach. “DON’T WORRY YOULL BE JOING THEM!” He laughed.

“GOOD I’D RATHER DIE A THOUSAND DEATHS THAN BE WITH SCUM LIKE YOU!” Piper replied back.

“ERRRRR!” Dan pulled the trigger sending a bullet into Pipers stomach. The pain was unbearable her legs wouldn’t hold her up. But Dan did as he shot again. He shot again and again and again each time the pain becoming more unbearable. Piper could feel the blackness washing over her. She was grasping onto consciousness. Dan only laughed as she struggled to keep her eyes open. Blood covered Dan’s hands more

blood pored out from her mouth.

“Your….. the loser here……. You never….. had a shot….. at me….. I’m to good…… for you. You….. wouldn’t have a shot….. at me if if….. you where…. Half the man….. Leo

is.” The shine from Pipers eyes disappeared. Darkness covered as she closed her eyes for the last time.

Light surrounding Piper she squeezed her eyes tightly. A few minutes later it subsided and she was able to see.

“Leo!” Piper gasped falling in to his arms. She wrapped her arms around him tightly resting her head on him. “I thought I would never see you again………. Now

we can be together with no one to interfer.” Piper lifted her face to gaze into his.

“Yes we can be together just not here.” Leo replied running his hands along her hair.

“Leo!” Someone exclaimed from behind him. Leo turned to see his love standing there. “Finally.” They both whispered.

“I I don’t understand.” Piper gasped looking at the woman in front of her. She looked exactly like her only older.

“I’m I’m Piper!”

“Yes you are.” The older Piper agreed.

“Your just not my Piper.” Leo stated.

“Honey you’re not dead. That wasn’t your world. It was mine.” Older Piper explained.

“So what happens now?” Piper asked confused.

“You go back to your world, to your Leo.” She replied.

“So I killed you…..” Piper stated.

“No Dan did.” Older Piper replied knowing she wouldn’t understand.

“But but your dead because of me. If you had been there instead of me than you could have done something or….” Piper started.

“No life was not worth living without any of my family there to enjoy it with me. Now I can be with all my loved ones. And so can you.”

“I still don’t understand.” Piper replied confused.

“You don’t have to.” Leo said softly. “Its time to leave.” Leo took Piper’s head in his hands and kissed her softly. The light again become blinding and Piper felt herself dissolving away.

“They will be ok.” Older Piper sighed wrapping her arms around her Leo.

“Yes and so we will.” He stated kissing her.

“Piper wait you don’t understand let me explain!” Leo exclaimed desperation evident in his face. Piper stood their stun and confused. She was back in her room.

“Leo!” She exclaimed grabbing him and pulling him into a passionate kiss. She ran her hands along him she had been longing for him for so long. They pulled away Leo shocked at her change in attitude.

“So ummmm do you forgive me?” Leo asked confused one minute they had been fighting the next kissing.

“Oh god I’m so sorry Leo. I love you! You heard me I love you and only you. I don’t care if you’re out a lot I don’t care. I love you so much and if I ever lost you. Leo I’m so sorry for what I said about Dan. I didn’t mean it I’ve always wanted to be with you. Never him you have to believe me.” Piper pleaded holding tightly onto him.

“Piper I love you two……. But you are really confusing what are you talking about?” Leo asked.

“About what I said…..” Piper started but then realized what had happened. “Wait! What’s the last thing I said to you?” Leo gave her a questionable look.

“We where fighting about that book. Which you misinterpreted ummm the last thing you said was umm NOT ACCORDING TO THAT BOOK!” Leo explained still

utterly confused.

“I didn’t say it! They sent me back before I could say it. Guess I learned my lesson.” Piper exclaimed.

“Didn’t say what?” Leo questioned.

“Nothing I will tell you later. Just know that I love you forever. And you come with a past… So what? Your not the only one we all do. You’re not the first boyfriend I have ever had. So why should I be mad?” Piper smiled running her hands up his neck.

“But Piper you don’t understand the person in that is….” Leo tired to explain but Piper stopped him.

“No I don’t need to know.” She pulled his head down and brought him into another kiss.

“Piper Halliwell I love you but you are a very confusing woman sometimes.” Leo commented.

“Maybe but I’m all yours.” Piper replied pulling him onto the bed with her.

“Hmmmmm is that so.” For the rest of the night Piper had pure happiness. Pure happiness, which she certainly deserved.

“Thank you.” She whispered tracing the outline of Leo’s sleeping face.
