Henin will face Kournikova in the first round of Australian Open(14/1/2002)

The Australian Open singles draw has been release. Justine Henin plays against Russian Anna Kournikova. Because of her injuries last season, Anna dropped to number 71 on the WTA ranking and is not seeded in Melbourne. Justine has played against Anna twice before and won both matches in straight sets.
