Asylum
He looked around him and saw the tilted corridors of an asylum.  He couldn't remember how he had exactly gotten there.  Not caring what would happen, he started down the right corridor.  While he was walking, he saw an enormous black oak door.  The door was covered with symbols that looked like they had been burnt into the wood.  As he neared the door, blood started to flow from the symbols.  He tried to turn around and run away, but his body wouldnt do what he told it to.  When he reached the door his hand started to reach for the handle.  Just before it touched the handle the door vanished.  He risked a look inside the room and saw that it was empty.  Feeling that it might be safe, he entered the room.  As soon as he cleared the threshold, the door reappeared behind him.  Before he could turn toward the door, a bright burst of light filled the center of the room.  He started moving toward the light as it pulsed with an unheard beat.  The closer he got to the light the brighter it became.  As he got nearer to the light he thought he heard whispers.  The whispers slowly blossomed into screams of agony.  When he reached the light, the screams became deafening.  Suddenly, they stopped leaving a silence that seemed on the verge of shattering.  The light blazed and his vision went white.  When he could see again he discovered to his amazement that he was at his school.  It was a typical boring school day.  He tried to talk to his friends, but they ignored him.  While he tried to get their attention, they slowly started to change.  As he watched in stunned silence, their skin turned into mist and was whipped away by the wind.  The hideous creatures that his friends had become turned and started toward him.  He tried to flee, but he couldnt move a muscle.  As the fiends walked toward him their insides came loose and fell to the ground with a disgustingly moist sound.  He fought back vomit as their guts and blood flowed on the ground.  All that was left of them was their skeletons that glowed with an unholy light.  They drew closer while whispering his name.  When they had just about reached him they started to scream and laugh with evil intent.  Just before their hands closed on him, they fell apart and their bones hit the ground with a clatter.

Bob woke up with a startled gasp.  He remembered having a nightmare about something, but for the life of him couldnt remember what it was about.  As his heart slowed back to a normal beat he began to get sleepy again.  Right before he lost conciseness he thought he heard distant screams that promised him pain.
The next morning he awoke at 7 o'clock sharp.  He yawned and got up from his pallet.  He quickly selected some clean clothes from his closet and dressed.  Leaving his room he thought he saw blood dripping down his wall.  Startled he took a closer look and discovered that it was just a shadow.  He got in the kitchen and made himself some eggs and bacon for breakfast.  While he ate, he thought he heard a whisper.  Knowing that he was alone, he shrugged it off as his imagination.  Finishing his breakfast, he put his plate and glass in the sink and left for school.  As he left his house he couldnt help but have a feeling of unease.
On his way to school, he saw the biggest raven he had ever seen.  While he watched, the bird circled and suddenly plummeted to the earth.  It pulled itself up right before it impacted with the ground and landed.  It quickly darted its beak out and caught itself an earthworm.  It ripped into the worm with a vicious cry.  While the bird devoured the worm, he could have sworn that the worm was screaming.
By the time he reached his school first period had already started.  As he rushed to class, he thought he saw a fleeting glimpse of a skeleton.  He just assumed that it was his imagination again, but he was shaken by it.  Trembling just a little bit he entered his class.  The rest of the class was already seated when he got there.  A little ashamed at being late he quickly took his seat.  Fortunately his teacher didnt notice he was late.  The first part of class went by smoothly.
During the second part of class though it all went to hell.  He gradually became aware of a sound.  It sounded like someone was whispering.  He looked up and noticed that no one else seemed to hear it so he ignored the whispers and keep working.  Later his name started being whispered.  He looked up again and noticed that everyone else was still working.  He quickly went back to his work and tried his hardest to ignore the whispers.  Obviously someone was trying to play a trick on him and he was going to ignore them.  Then the whispers started to sound like his teacher's voice.  Could his teacher be trying to play a trick on him?  Thinking he must be mistaken he looked up at her.  As he looked at her he had the feeling that something was wrong.  He couldnt place it till he looked her in the face.  He then discovered that her face was missing.  In place of her face was a grinning skull with blood running out of the eye sockets.  Shocked by the terrifying apparatus he fainted dead away.  Pearls of evil laughter followed him into unconsciousness.
Five minutes later he became awake again as his teacher shook him awake.  She told him that he needed to stay awake in class and if he couldnt he should go see the principal.  He apologized and watched as she stalked back to her desk.  He then sat there thinking.  He couldn't remember drifting off to sleep, but he could remember working and then being  shook awake.  While he was wondering what happened the bell rung.  Still puzzled as to what happened he gathered his stuff together and left to go to his next class.                        As he walked the halls going to second, something strange started to happen.  The people all started rippling like they were coming apart or something.  Scared he stopped and watched as everyone started changing.  The changes were varied but all of them were gruesome.  Some peoples skin fell off and their muscles and guts slipped off their bones.  Others flesh just turned into smoke and vanished.  Some were normal one minute and just became skeletons in an instant.  The worse was the ones that exploded.  They would start to shake and suddenly explode in a rain of blood and flying body parts.  All that would be left would be their bones standing up like nothing had happened.  Just as suddenly as it started it was over.  Everyone had became skeletons.  Then as one the skeletons all turned toward him with a clattering sound and started moving toward him.  Some danced with a frightful sound.  At this point, he fled screaming into his mind.
When he finally became aware of his surrounds again he was in what looked like the back of a van.  Feeling something was wrong with this picture he soon noticed that the walls were padded.  He also quickly realized that his arms where bound behind his back by a strait jacket.  Not knowing what was happening he became panicked.  As he fought to keep control of his panic, he heard two people talking.  He soon realized that they were talking about him.  It would seem he was a very interesting person.  They were talking about how crazy he was.  He was offended by their remarks.  He wasnt crazy by any means.  He was interested in learning why he was here though so he listened to them chat.  They talked about how he had made a spectacle at school.  He had apparently ran down the sidewalk screaming about how the skeletons were chasing him.  The school had called the police and the local asylum because they feared he might hurt someone.  The asylum people had found him first.  They then moved on about how hard it was to catch him.  He had hurt one of their fellow workers while they were trying to contain him.  They then had quickly gassed him and strapped him into a straight jacket.  They said they hoped that he didnt cause to much trouble at the nut house when they let him out.  After hearing all this he passed back out into eternal darkness.  As he passed out, he could feel his sanity fleeing him.

The guard was just about sick of listening to the new arrival.  Some sicko by the name of Bob or something like that.  He was o.k. when he first got here, but of course he was asleep then.  Every since he had woke up five hours ago, all he had done was scream.  He just keep screaming about the same stuff.  Something about how the whispers wouldnt stop.  How that psycho could hear anything over himself was beyond the guard.  He also keep screaming about how the skeletons where coming to get him.  The guard thought yeah right like the bad old skeletons were going to magically appear in the cell with him.  The guard thought he didnt get paid enough to listen to freaks like this guy.  Suddenly Bob stopped screaming.  The guard liked this change.  Maybe his ears would finally stop hurting now.  An hour later and Bob's cell was still silent.  Though he like the quiet he was worried about the patient.  The guard decided that he had better check on Bob.  When he got into the cell he had a very unpleasant surprise waiting on him.  Some how Bobby boy had managed to get wiggle out of his strait jacket and had used it to strangle himself to death.
