Kareena "Bebo" Kapoor (born September 21, 1980) is fairly successful bollywood actess, hailing from the Kapoor family, which has many of its members included within the film fraternity. She is the granddaughter of Raj Kapoor , daughter of Randhir and Kapoor. Her sister Karisma Kapoor is also in the film industry.

Her first movie was J. P. Dutta's Refugee released in 2000 along with Abhishek Bachchan in it (also making his debut). Her other notable roles include "Pooja" in the inter-generational melodrama Kabhie Kushi Kabhie Gham, "Kaurwaki" in Asoka (film), and the title role in Chameli, in she plays a prostitute. She is currently dating actor-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor (they starred together in the 2004 flop Fida.

Kapoor has won three Filmfare Awards to date including the Best Debut (Female) Award for Refugee, a Special Acting prize for Chameli and a Best Actress (Critics') citation for Govind Nihalani's Dev, in which she played a Muslim girl caught in the midst of regional violence.
