I wanted to make a page about Helena & I, so I can tell the World a little about us & how amazing she makes me feel. It's been a long time since any one person has made me feel so happy, or so good about myself. Truly, I am very lucky to have met such a special person. I relish every moment spent in her company & I feel empty every moment we are apart...
Her touch so soft & tender, her voice a cure for all that ails & her face... the most beautiful sight I can imagine. I would write poetry if I could, but instead I shall quote some from a Valentine's gift: "Love is a wizard... It intoxicates, it envelops, it isolates. It creates fragrance in the air, ardour from coldness, it beautifies everything around it." "The sweetest memory of all is that first kiss from your one true love." "Love is huddling together for shelter under an umbrella - long after the rain has stopped." "The supreme happiness of life is the conviction of being loved for yourself, or, more correctly, being loved inspite of yourself." "Love is... a flower so delicate that a touch will bruise it, so strong that nothing will stop its growth." "In Love. She remembered the excitement of those days. The sudden ecstasy of an unexpected phonecall. The brilliance and beauty of the most mundaneobjects. Laughter over nothing, shared across small candlelit tables; walking together on sunlit pavements; smelling lilac on a city street; driving in his car down to the country, withthe sun roof open to the sky and a whole weekend ahead, and the sensation that there was nobody in the world but thetwo of them." "Love is... born with the plesure of looking at each other, it is fed with the necessity of seeing each other, it is concluded with the impossibility of separation!" "Ah! When will this long weary day end, And lend me leave to come unto my love? "Love does not consist in gazing at each other but in looking outward together in the same direction." "Now our love is deep enough to need no frantic gestures. You smile in passing, touch my shoulder. I walk with you in the garden, sharing the last of the light, the flickering of the bats, the scent of the Roses. We are at home in quietness. Passion and the everyday flow from each other, equal expressions of our love." "Keep love in your heart. The consciousness of "Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get - only what you are expecting to give - which is everything." "Love consists in desiring to give what is our own to another and feeling his delight as our own." "One does not remember the flowers or the compliments. One remembers standing at an upstairs window staring down the evening-shadowed street waiting for him toturn the corner." "Love knows no limits to its endurance, no end to its trust, no dashing of its hope; it can outlast anything. It is, in fact the one thing that still stands when all else has fallen." "Love... wipes out all sense of an time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end." "Is it so small a thing To have enjoyed the sun, To have lived light in the spring, To have loved, to have thought, to have done?" More about us later.
