It took me a few days researching endurance training, writting furiously, calculating different speeds and times, and recycling a LOT of paper to actually come up with one very good training program. Please actually look at it!
  NOTE: As you may notice, week one-three has 6 days and weeks four & five have 5 days and that week six has only 4. Yes, I do know that there are seven days in a week. Unmentioned days are rest days. That's not to say that I will ride 6 days straight and then give Chilli a rest. She get's her day off according to the weather and when I see fit.
  Another thing, I only went to 12km because I don't live near any trails. I have to circle my pastures or risk my neck and ride on our busy street to get to a 4km gravel road. The ride is broken up into 12 and 1/2 segments, with lunch being the in-between. Since most of the ride will be walking, I figured that getting her used to trotting 6km would be enough muscle for an extra 12 and 1/2km.
  As well, just beause I have 6km of trot doesn't mean I will ride 6km of trot at one time. It will be broken up with walking. Cantering is not included in the program because it will just be part of the trotting km.
Week One:
Day 1- 1km; 3/4km walk and 1/4km trot
Day 2- 1km; 3/4km walk and 1/4km trot
Day 3- 1km; 1/2km walk and 1/2km trot
Day 4- 1km; 1/2km walk and 1/2km trot
Day 5- 1km;1/2km walk and 1/2km trot
Day 6- 1km; 1/4km walk and 3/4km trot


Week Two:
Day 1- 2km; 1 1/2km walk and 1/2km trot
Day 2- 2km; 1 1/4km walk and 3/4km trot
Day 3- 2km; 1km walk and 1km trot
Day 4- 4km; 3 1/4km walk and 3/4km trot
Day 5- 4km; 3 1/4km walk and 3/4km trot
Day6- 4km; 3km walk and 1km trot


Week Three:
Day 1- 4km; 3km walk and 1km trot
Day 2- 4km; 2km walk and 2km trot
Day 3- 4km; 2km walk and 2km trot
Day 4- 4km; 1 1/2km walk and 2 1/2km trot
Day 5- 6km; 4 1/4km walk and 1 3/4km trot
Day 6- 6km; 4 1/4km walk and 1 3/4 trot
Week Four:
Day 1- 6km; 4km walk and 2km trot
Day 2- 6km; 3 1/2km walk and 2 1/2km trot
Day 3- 6km; 3km walk and 3km trot
Day 4- 8km; 5 1/2km walk and 2 1/2km walk
Day 5- 8km; 5km walk and 3km trot


Week Five:
Day 1- 8km; 4 1/2km walk and 3 1/2km trot
Day 2- 8km; 4km walk and 4km trot
Day 3- 8km; 4km walk and 4km trot
Day 4- 10km; 6 1/2km walk and 3 1/2km trot
Day 5- 10km; 6km walk and 4km trot

Week Six:
Day 1- 10km; 6km walk and 4km trot
Day 2- 10km; 5km walk and 5km trot
Day 3- 10km; 5km walk and 5km trot
Day 4- 12km; 7 1/4km walk and 4 3/4km trot
Day 5- 12km; 7km walk and 5km trot

Week Seven:
Day 1- 12km; 7km walk and 5km trot
Day 2- 12km; 6km walk and 6km trot
