Bad Language

I think there is no bad language. I use "bad language" when I am emotional or just when I have a strong opinion about something. "Bad language" is only what you make of it. If you realize they are just words that really mean nothing, then you will not be the least bit bothered by "bad language."

The only reason swearing is considered bad is because people keep wasting their time to make us all believe that swear words are bad. If people would just stop sweating the fact that people swear, then it would be fine. Why is "darn" ok and "damn" a swear word, they mean the same thing. Why can I say "Those friggin people" or "Those flippin people" and no one cares and if I say "Those fucking people" people act like I just spit on the pope or something. They mean the SAME thing. It is the highest point of hypocracy to say swearing is horrible and then say any word that is derived from a swear word or use a word in place of a swear word.

So if anyone has a problem with MY swearing. I don't care. I swear because I can think for myself and I don't just say "Oh, something is wrong because everyone else says it's wrong, so they must be right." I have thought about the whole subject of swearing and I have decided a long time ago that random letters pronounced in a random way is not any worse than anything other random group of letters. Is it worse to be called a horrible person or a fucker? I think the first one is worse because the second one really doesn't mean ANYTHING.

So if anyone has a problem with my or anyone's swearing, just ignore it instead of taking the high "I wish we didn't have to swear in here" road. That is one problem with the world these days, no one can ignore anything anymore. Think that a television program is offensive? Turn the channel? No, let's sue the television station. Think a radio personality is rude and stupid? Stop listening to the Radio Personality? Nope let's picket the station and stop buying any product that has the nerve to advertise on a program that *I* find offensive! They have no right!!

Yeah maybe we should stop swearing. I keep forgetting there is no right to free speech in the United States.

Hopefully no one finds this too offending, but I am sure someone will, since anytime one expresses oneself, someone is bound to have a heart attack.
