Many people ask the same crucial question... Is it fate that rules us or is it circumstances or our own will?
Old traditions teach us that man begins his journey to life in heaven. And what exactly is heaven? It is the place where man's soul is not restricted by rules of nature and free will is trully free...
Traditions teach us that in the beginning the soul simply exists unaware of itself, without selfconcious like the little female virgin unaware of passions and lusts... At a certain point apparently without reason the soul makes a move to expand like the virgins spontaneous rather childish gestures for getting to know "boys"... By making this move the soul enters the path of karma (which in simple words says that for every action there is a reaction). This process is what the Bible calls the Fall from Paradise.
In its attempt to return to the lost heaven the soul has to struggle with limitations and laws of nature... It has to learn how to balance action and reaction if it hopes to free itself from it one day and return to the freedom of simply existing... (nevertheless having gained selfconsious in the process or in other words as a mature woman after many experiences, critisism and having faced vain, jealousy and hostility - notice how all these are "restrictions")
That is why the soul from time to time "wears" clothes (the energy fields we call aura) and adopts shapes (bodies) to explore possibilities and try out different ways of expression... This process of wearing the clothe and making up a face in front of a mirror to try out what the best appearance is, what comes closer to the real soul (as women do in real life too) is the incarnation process...
Tradition teaches us that the first clothe we dress up with is the clothe of thought... Yes, it is actually true that our mind itself is a clothe and not the actual self... (closer to actual self is intuition, "knowing" without thinking). This is equivalent to many astrologers to the element of air. In this field we learn the laws of nature, maths, music and base our sences on "hearing".
The second clothe we put on is vision. It is sentiment, it is the basic law of liking and identifying with something, losing our actual self, it is the biblic temptation. Here is where we learn beauty, art and love... This level of existance is equivalent to water.
The third clothe we wear in the process to incarnation from the soul down to material world is energy, passion, thrust, violence, hate, repulsion and division, taste and smell... It is the devil's level, but is also the one without which there is no life... Because life is separation... This equivalents to the element of fire...
The lowest level of our existence is matter, solid matter, equivalent to earth element, where we humans and all nature live... where we learn the laws of birth and dying, the experience of touch...
In the process of wearing clothes the soul puts limitation to itself, just like when we wear a suit we don't go for a dance, or when we were an athletic ourfit we don't go to dinner... But as the soul tries out the outfits it is the soul itself that picks the outfit out of the closet in front of it...
This closet is made up of the energies that fill in the universe... Thought, love, passion and matter the four levels of existance exist on their own as raw materials (imagine them as electromagnetic energies or better as fabrics for knitting). The soul simply picks them up and knits clothing with them...
So in the process of kniting the soul has to pick the most appropriate fabric, the best silk... Imagine the universe as an automatic factory creating fabric in various varieties, working in shifts, from 12 to 2 creating silk, from 2 to 4 creating rayon, from 4 to 6 creating cotton... These shifts are the ones the ancients measured by the move of the signs and planets...
Imagine now that the factory for shoes has the shoes ready but the factory for stockings not... So the soul has to wait for the closest time where EVERY factory is simultanously creating the stuff it wants for its outfit... cause it can't hold on some material during waiting for the other (other souls are waiting too...)
When this time comes, or at least the closest one (factories do make mistakes) the soul DECIDES to dress up the next clothe, to incarnate into the next level of existance, to die as a "person" in the level of thought and be born in the level of love (the words die and born are ment literally!!) and so on to the last level of matter...
That means, to summerize this long message, that the moment we are born or die is OUR CHOICE (ok not entirely, there are karmic factors or the mistakes of the factory I told you about) but generally it is like finishing up trying every clothe in the store and finally deciding to BUY the clothes and get out to the open for everyone to see... (it is possible that after two days the skirt shows a fault that didn't appear in the first place)...
So the moment of your birth is something that was selected by you with restrictions of course, and whenever you feel restricted by it, remember it's just a clothe... and the puprose is to try and live a role in it... (don't undress to quickly though - that's what we call suicide - because you don't gain anything, you'll still have to dress up something similar in your next incarnation, if the role has to be learnt by you in order to achieve soul "promotion" - yes it works similarly to a promotion in your office where you have to learn a role, want it or not...)
But you can maintain the clothe if you want, correct some faults, change it here and there to suit you better (if the factory made some mistakes you didn't notice at the beginning...) just like a role as an executive can be flexible to each one's personality...
That process continues for the four levels of existence independently!! That means we don't live only HERE in the world of matter... When we die here, we're born (literally) in the previous level...
There we live a normal life as a passion entity, unaware of the past (just like here)... When it comes to dying in the passion level, then we are born to the level of love... etc etc
This is the process of undressing the heavy clothes and staying with the light ones...
So the soul follows two directions, incarnation from thought down to matter, and the opposite procedure of undressing... At the end the lesson the soul learns is that it is not the clothes that build up a person, just as a woman does after having dressed up in different suits...
But really would any woman know this if she hadn't gone through the process of experiencing roles and outfits? I think not...
Take care of yourselves, dear friends, I hope you enjoyes this...
