STORY: Hercule's 10th labour was one of the most difficult he had to carry out. He had to come down to the world of the dead to fetch a lost soul inprisoned there, the soul of Orpheus, the vard and singer of the soul. In order to do that he had to face Cerberus, the tree headed giant guardian dog of the land of the dead. But most of all he had to cross a long long way through the land of the dead, suffering from the cold and the icehearted environment, so distant and lifeless, that Hercule's own heart could dry out of life energy.
Indeed Hercules found it the most difficult labour he had to carry out up to now. As he walked through the land of the dead all he could see was suffering, speachless souls, eyes lifeless, cold, empty, not even asking, not even complaining, completely lifeless as the holes their relatives had put their diceased bodies inside. Hercules tried to keep up his spirit and his determination, but he felt something he had never felt before, fear before imminent certain death. Fear before emptyness, before an unpercievable situation, a situation he could not imagine how it would be, where there would be nothing, no existance, nothing beeing, a total emptyness. He felt his own heart beeing drained from his emotion and as he moved forward he became cold himself, thinking of nothing, feeling nothing, stopping differences betwwen living and dead as all seemed now the same, as raw material. The impression of his walking through proved to be the most difficult task, far more difficult than defeating Cerberus. With no emotion inside, coldhearted and with the crystal determination of a shameless killer, he only needed a couple of gestures to put Cerberus on the run. How curious this had been to become so cold in order to save the warmest heart of all, the soul of Orpheus.
SYMBOLS: The sign of Capricorn is the sign of entering out of life. In opposition to Cancer where a person first feels the need to have his own emotional property, the first sign where the emotional attachment to life appears and therefore it is considered as the enter to life cycle Capricorn symbolizes exaclty the opposite. The drop of all clothes, the cast of every ethics and all laws of emotional relations, a situation where a person loses all "protection" and has to face naked his own death. The loss of all vales reveals the true nature of life, where our bodies and the material world is seen as it actually is as dead raw substance. The emotional shock is terrible and much stronger then any other sign's and the effect to the person is direct. If the person accepts the new situation, where he would behave as a naked person among dressed, if he finds the courage to proceed, he soonly finds out that he reaches his true soul, perhaps much more different than he romantically thought before, nevertheless, it is his soul. And the price to get in touch to the soul (Orpheus) is to drop life itself in the form we know it. A Capricorn enters the world of cold ambition and courage and leaves fears and emotions behind. Perhaps he is equally misunderstood as the Cancer, but his way is the way of the mystic and the phase he is in, is the most difficult one, to drop the emotional attachements, to empty the energy cup of concious from emotions demanding energy to feed, in order to allow the soul energy to enter from heaven and rest and clean the now apparently neglected but actually trained to effecvtively obey body.
