01-03-2002, Thursday: Today my mommy started a homepage for me. She can write about how I am growing each and everyday, so that loved ones from far away can be somehow closer to me. She will also be posting some pictures of me and my family. So check in often to see me grow!
01-07-2002, Monday: Grandma dropped Alainah off to the babysitter today. She got bundled up pretty well coz' it's cold out there. We don't want to take her out early in the morning, but we have no choice coz' everybody has to get to work. Alainah didn't see her daddy this weekend coz' he had to work. Daddy misses her so!
01-16-02, Wednesday: This past weekend, Sunday-January 13, Alainah got baptized at St. Edward's Catholic Church, Richmond Va. We wished our close relatives and her ninangs and ninongs from far away could join her, but since they can't there will be pictures of that day here at the website. And this coming weekend will be daddy's last with us, he will be going to his deployment next week. We will go see him and stay with him beginning this Friday until he departs. Daddy's been busy this past days and we barely spend time with him. But no matter where he is, he still lives in our hearts.
02-15-02, Friday night: Yesterday was Valentine's Day and daddy sent us a dozen of roses, they were very pretty and red. Daddy's gone away already and we miss him very much. We send him emails everyday and pictures too so he can see me grow. Daddy wherever you are, remember that we love you and we are waiting for you. Thanks for the pretty flowers, you make us feel very special. I love you hunney... love, mommy!
03-02-02, Saturday: Mommy's b-day past last February 23. Daddy has called us twice, and he's in Greece now, ain't that cool?! The phone system in the ship doesn't work so he has to wait until they dock to call us. And they only hit ports once a month or even longer. Mommy misses daddy very much. We can't wait for him to get home... Also, Alainah's eating food now, rice cereal for now. In two weeks, she will start vegetables, then fruits. Since daddy went away, Alainah's been sleeping with mommy on a bed, and she does this cool thing where she moves closer to mommy using her legs and head... she kicks then she uses her head to stir, when she gets really close to mommy she stops. It's gets kinda cold in our room, so i think she does this so she can snuggle and get warm. cute right?!
04-04-02: Guess what? Daddy is coming home in June instead of August.... which means he'll still be around in the summertime. He can take me pasyal at the beach and parks, mommy and I are very excited. Alainah is 6 months on the 11th of this month, I think she's starting to feel her teeth coming coz' she bites on everything. Later gator...
04.08.02: Hello again, dear readers! Alainah is not quite 6 months yet, but will be in a few days. this past weekend we all went to the mall with grandma, mommy, uncle dodong and alainah. alainah gets so excited when she goes out, she raises both her hands, up and down, up and down... like a pair of wings, we joke around and call it "pumapalag" si alainah, when birds are ready to fly they flop their wings, that's how alainah looks like at the mall or just outside the house. we take her outside when the weather is good, just like this past weekend. last night she couldn't quite sleep good, i think her teeth is bothering her now. mommy had to hold her in her arms the whole night, mommy's arms are very sore right now.. but it's ok coz' that's how having a child is like, making them feel good. daddy called last night, he's doing good. he'll be home soon, that is all in our minds right now... daddy's coming home soon...alleluia!
04.12.02 Thursday: Hi there! Alainah turned 6 months yesterday. She's getting heavier and big now. Mommy will buy me a new carseat this weekend coz' my feet are outside the carseat that I have now, I barely fit in there. I think i got daddy's height that's why. I've been waking mommy up during the nights too, coz' I just want to play, but mommy tells me to go back to sleep coz' she needs her sleep and will work the next day... I really want to play so i just giggle and keep kicking her in the face if she don't wake up. She ends up waking up and playing with me until i get tired again, and fall asleep. Other than that, i'm a really happy baby, no complains, except when they're feeding me, i want to eat a little bit faster, and i cry when the food is coming slowly. well, until next time... mommy will be meeting me soon to go to the mall, with auntie aileen too. I just love the mall! who doesn't? bye....
04.23.02 Tuesday: Hello y'all! Wassup? Mommy has an eye infection, poor mommy!.. but Alainah is feeling great... she's had her 6months shot, the doctor was really impressed coz' Alainah did that close-open thing with her hands... grandma taught her that.. and now she's learned to do "arimunding-munding" with her other hand... it looks funny coz' she can only do close-open with her right hand, and the left is that arimunding-munding(turn her hand back and forth)... it looks cool coz' sometimes she does both at thesame time... ain't she a smarty! also when she was at the doctors office, as soon as I lie her down the bed, she started crying like she already had her shots... the doctor said she probably remembered that she had shots there before, that's why she started crying... she's really a smart girl ya know... well coz' all her aunties whenever they are around always teaching her new things, even grandmas learning her A-B-C's again with Alainah... and of course mommy is always reading her "Goodnight Moon" book before she goes to bed... I guess it's good to be the only baby in the house, or I mean the ONLY baby in my mommy's family.. I get all the attention I want!
05.01.02 Wednesday: Hello all, it's the first of May, ain't days flying by so fast.. but not fast enough to seee daddy 'tho.. he'll be back in exactly one and a half month, we are very excited to see him. I'm also turning 7 months next week, i'm getting older and wiser.. people keep telling mommy i'm gonna be a smart one coz' i learn things they teach me easily..hee hee hee.. i'm flattered but mommy tells them back she wants me to be a star like britney spears or something... just a joke tho... the only thing is im really use to someone carrying me, what can i do if for a little cry they come get me right away, but mommy is tough sometimes she let me stay there crying coz' she dont want me to get spoiled, but i just keep crying coz' i know she'll come get me anyway... my aunties are the best they've been coming here on the weekend and when they're here they just carry me all day and take me outside... but i havent seen auntie thogs tho.. hmmm, she must be busy with her boyfriend or something.. she said studies but i think i know better... just kidding but maybe true... Uncle aaron took care of me today, he's cool coz' he takes care of me good. Daddy been calling too for the last 2 days but mommy been missing his calls, he was disappointed coz' he couldn't reach us, but he said he'll keep trying coz' he misses us so much. We miss him too and love him very much... gotta go now until next time.. take care always.
05.08.02 Tuesday: I just wanna say Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there, especially to my Mommy and my GrandMommys... who are always taking care of me, and thank you for everything. We are sending roses to my lola, we sending her at work this friday.. it's a surprise thing so don't ya say a word ok. I'm doing good, expect I've been having bad diaper rashes, I cry everytime they change me, coz' it hurts when its touch.. but mommy put some medicine and told the babysitter to change me often, which she does anyway... Grandma is worried, coz' of my diaper rash, and Mommy too she can't stand seeing me in pain, but she gotta put the medicine on me.... other than that, i'm still thesame... also just wanna say thanks to those who already signed my Gbook, K then, keep it real.. luv yah!
05.13.02 Monday: hey all, how was your weekend? mine was owesome, we all went strawberry picking with grandma, mommy, tita lheen, auntie thogs (finally she came visit me), uncle dodong, uncle tacky and some of lola's friends.... it was a very nice day, coz' the sun was shining and it wasn't too hot, it was perfect to go outside. the strawberries were soooooo red, and big, everyone was eating, and even brought dippin' things for the strawberries. after we went pickin', we had a picnic, grandma cooked shrimps, daing, and we had tomatoes, so we all used our hands to eat... it was a lot of fun... i found out that my family go strawberry picking every year, but this year was a special one coz' this is my first time so thats why we had a picnic too... too bad daddy missed everything.. but we want to have another picnic when daddy comes back, at the beach. as soon as i get the photos from my strawberry pickin' it will be posted here so watch out for that... its kinda funny coz' mommy and i was carrying umbrella the whole time so that the sun won't burn us... but we were the only one who had an umbrella... and it was a really big farm where we went, and did i say the strawberries were red and sooooooooooooooo big. Mmmmmmmmmm Yummmmmmmmmmmmy!
05.14.02 Tuesday: i'm here, just wanna say hi! my counter at the page ain't workin', tryin to figure out why... um what else... nothin' much... daddy's gonna be back in June, we gotta make sure when 'tho coz' we're going to Cali and mommy needs to make reservations... it's gonna be a cool summer, i can feel it... i want to go to parks, like kings dominion or busch gardens with everyone, and picnics... k then, gotta go now, just drop by to say hhhhhhhheeeeeeeeellllllloooooooo...oh yeah, ive also learned to dance, but just one side 'tho..hee hee hee.. i tilt my whole body to the left... everyone soooooooooo crazy about that dance, and i know how to pray now, just put my hands together and raise it up and down while someone sings...

05.23.02 Thursday: Hey you all, sup! guess what, daddy will be coming home on June 12... yeeeeehhheeeeyyyyyyyy! Mommy and I are so excited... mommy been busy booking for plane ticket for us, and where gonna be staying there for 10 nights in LA. We plan to go to LasVegas and Hollywood... mommy hopefully would love to bump with Julia Roberts or any popular good looking actor... shes just so excited coz' this will be the first time she goes on a real vacation since she started working 2 years ago... and we're gonna see my grandma for the first time, everyone is so excited overthere to meet us too. But we wont be staying at their house 'tho, we're gonna stay at a hotel near their house, and we will be renting a car too so we can go places... but most of all, we are soooooooo happy to finally see daddy again... we're gonna pick him up in VAbeach, then we'll leave to LA 2 days later... we really can't wait to be back in his arms again, he's just a great daddy... always calling and emailing every chance he can get... he emails mommy everyday eventho sometimes he just goes back to work just to email mommy again... we know he loves us very much.. and the greatest part is we love him very much too... mommy and I are gonna do a surprise gift for him on fathers day... mommy and i are gonna do portrait at sears this friday for happy fathers day.. its gonna say there you're the best number one daddy.... mommy been searching on the net for a good gift and she thinks this is the best one, plus i have to take my pictures again coz' i'm turning 8months soon, last time i went there i was only 3 months.. so this time im gonna do more sitting thing and i think mommy gonna pick different backgrounds, like an angel thing, and pooh my favorite bear... neways watch out for that next time, mommy gonna be posting it here first so you can all see that... bye.. take care always....
