MY BAPTISM

     Alainah Emmanuelle got baptized last Sunday, January the 13th. It happened at St. Edward's The Confessor, Catholic Church. It is a fun event and so sudden coz' we want to get her baptized before daddy leaves for his deployment. She was awake the whole time (except we had to wake her up to begin), and she didn't cry, just busy sucking on her fingers. The priest called her "a beautiful child". Auntie Alice (a frequent to the church) said the priest never called anyone like that. Well Alainah is beautiful and very precious.
     Father Don administered Alainah's baptism. Her sponsors(ninangs&ninongs) include Aileen Ordona, Eustaquio(Tacky) DeVilla, Karen Pablico, Jennifer Clontz, Joseph Mayo, Inas Sbaih, Lilybeth Salyers and Mei Chu Li. Some of them didn't show up coz' they live quite far, but they are my ninang/ninong nevertheless. I hope to see them soon. For those who didn't see my christening i've compiled some pictures in order so that you can relive the day.

PART I

     Well the first part is before the mass. Father Don with his right hand Karen, joined me and my family for annointing of the sick. This is accomplish by putting oil in my chest and saying some prayers. This is done in the chapel of the church right before the mass. Anyway, these are the pictures taken in order as it happened:

PART II

     The second part of the Christening is the procession to the altar and the calling of the parents, child, and sponsors to the altar. Also, the priest, parents and sponsors put the sign of a cross to Alainah's forehead to start the mass. After this was done, everybody went back to their seats, which btw has been reserved for us. PART III

     The third part of Alainah's christening is the baptism of water, annointing of the evil, and one of the sponsors, Tacky, lights the candle. Also, Angelica, Dodong and Ferdinand(Del's BF) bring the gifts to the altar. See it all happened below:
