Basic Ritual

The circle should be marked on the floor ( a rope, candles or a chalk line). The altar should be set up in the middle of the circle, facing north. There
should be a representation of the Goddess and the God on the altar. This can be a candle (usually white, silver or blue for the Goddes. Red, gold or
yellow for the God), or a little statue or some other symbol of the Goddess and God. There should be the four representations of the elements,
incense (air), bowl of water (water), a candle (fire), and a bowl of salt or earth (earth).

Cast the Sacred Circle. You can do this by walking around the circle with each element, sprinkling the salt and water, and just walking around with
the incense and candle.

Invoke the elements, welcoming them to your circle in your own words or these:

"Air, Fire, Water, Earth,
Elements of Astral birth
I call you now, attend to me!

In the circle, rightly cast,
Safe from psychic curse or blast.
I call you now, attend to me!

From cave and desert, sea and hill,
By wand, blade, cup and pentacle,
I call you now;ateend to me!
This is my will, so mote it be!"

Invoke the Goddess and God
Invocation to the Goddess

"Gracious Goddess,
You who are the Queen of the Gods,
the lamp of night,
the creator of all that is wild and free;
Mother of woman and man;
Lover of the Horned God and protectress of all the Wicca:
Descend, I pray,
with Your Lunar ray of power
upon my circle here!"
Invocation to the God

"Blazing God,
You who are the King of Gods
Lord of the Sun,
Master of all that is wild and free;
Father of woman and man,
Love of the Moon Goddess, and protector or all the Wicca:
Descend, I pray,
with Your Solar Ray of power
upon my circle here!"

You can raise energy by either chanting, dancing around the circle, or meditating.

Now is the time for discussion and teaching, and works of magic if neccessary.
