   The main purpose from which the SAMALAYA MOUNTAINEER are instituted as follows:

   1. To uphold our common goal, which is: To protect and to preserve the environment by promoting responsible mountaineering and outdoor-related activities.

  2.To promote the ideals of the original members to train and admit qualified individuals, help them develop skills, build camaraderie among members and provide venue for the sport of mountain trekking.

    3. To make members and public aware of environmental problems and provide means for active involvement in conservation of the environment.     

      SAMALAYA welcomes and invites outdoor enthusiast to join our organize trekking expeditions.

     Through such adventures, being upclose to Mother Nature, SAMALAYA aspires to promote a higher level of awareness, and acceptance of the responsibilities of every mountaineer to the environment particularly to the mountains.

SAMALAYA aims to realize its mission and vision by effectively:

1. Nurturing friendship and camaraderie.
2. Coordinating with other organizations.
3. Sourcing & managing financial resources.
4. Carrying out training, and seminars.
5. Intense practice of Mountaineering Ethics.
