I have fabricated and installed a prototype (proof of concept) cold air intake box using a K&N air filter. This should
get away from the "furnace-like"
air going into the carburetor, thereby increasing power. This one was handcut, bent and fitted. The final one will be cut from stainless steel and welded. So far it works well. Over this next winter, I will rebuild it , get specific with measurements, and put a drawing on the site. At this point, I'm not sure if there is any more power, but it is different and getting alot of attention. |
