May 27, 2006 Within the next 3 weeks, the newly fabricated floor pan was completed. I was really impressed with the work they did, being able to pattern and upgrade the floor pan, which was originally made and designed by the Germans. This proves to show that Filipinos are really talented builders. |

At the left you will see the completed flooring including the side members. It will be covered with an anti-rust substance later on. |

June - August 2006 The next few months would be more concentrated on body work and repair, removal of rust and fabrication of small pieces of metal.
As I observe carefully everytime I visit during the weekends, I notice that my bug is starting to come alive, piece by piece.. Very similar to a jigsaw puzzle.. It get's more and more interesting and educational for me as weeks pass. |
