"Should never have been charged"

It looks like they're applying the 'get tough' schema they use on people before trial, when they pressure-psych people into bargaining for lessor sentences, often using hard-core church volunteers and such to push things around. Only I 'm not charged with anything, and the judge's summation indicated that I should never have been charged. Of course the cops 'know better' than the judge.
The Nov 2 update: I was told yesterday that Const Spekat has been transferred to the Surrey detachment, (apparently shortly after this web site was promoted) and that my shoes were back in court. Naturally I disbelieved that they'd send my shoes away again. So I followed up, and found a court person who walked my shoes through a lunchtime gap into my hands in a total time of about two hours. Bypassing months of cop lies.
I was repeatedly told they were being held by the Burnaby RCMP exhibits guy, and Constable Spekat "couldn't find them."

If you want to talk to her, she's now in the Surrey detachment. You might ask for "shoeless."
Here's a short list of 'missings' and what not:
* didn't recover my $800 eyeglasses (I'd been smashed in the head to distract me just before the cane hit. Cost due to severe astigmatism.)
* when she arrived she went inside then came out to where I was sitting on the curb, (I had stumbled outside after my attacker quit trying to get back up and attack me again. It was incredible he just kept trying to attack, again and again) arrested me and clamped her handcuffs tight over the break on my right arm. (Hey, I protested as the bone crunched in) Then took them off me again when the ambulance crew came in sight.
* argued with the hospital doctor to suppress chest x-rays for the previous attack the same guy had made on me a couple weeks earlier. Then never recovered them as evidence when he went ahead and x-rayed me anyway. (damaged ribs from his fists from the first time).
* almost immediately erased the video tape showing what actually happened. Then never told the lawyers for about a year. (and tried to use my 911 call for help to convict me once the video was gone.)
* didn't recover the other guy's hospital records, showing minimal damage (he went home the same day. I stayed in hospital for a midnight operation inserting a pin to hold my broken and cuff-crushed arm together).
* seized my shoes and hasn't returned them. (There's a legal 30 day wait after trial, about July 27, apparently interpreted as 60 days by officialdom. That 'wait' takes things to about Aug 27 (not Oct 27 or Nov 27).
* Repeatedly & extensively lied to me about the status of my shoes, when I called her every day or so for months. Twice promised to deliver them to me 'tomorrow', then 'lost' them again.
* Enlisted other cops & church/other watchers to harass me, even today well after the trial showed she was well in the wrong..
How did the attack happen?
My wife moved out. Then suggested I move out and we sell the place.
I resisted for quite a few months as the market price rose. Then I agreed. In the meantime the building caretakers had hassled me somewhat (smiling first name basis with my ex-wife), to the point that the cops warned them to desist. (I had asked for harassment/threat charges against both husband/wife).
My wife expressed the idea that I wouldn't move out after the place was sold. The caretakers told the guy living above me that I was doing things to his car so he came into the apartment and beat me up (and admitted doing so in court). Then a day or two before the papers were signed to sell the place, he attacked me as I came out of the mail room.
His cane was already straight up as I came around the corner. I looked up at it and he smashed me in the face with his fist. He more or less admitted this in court, but "couldn't remember" details. He's over 70.
