Hello, and welcome to Josh's Volkswagen page. I got interested into volkswagens around my birthday in 2004, ever since then I've been saving my money for my dream Volkswagen. Saving up nearly 1500 as a young boy, and borrowing some from my parents, I went on a quest for my future VW. in January of 2005, I baught my first Volkswagen, it was a 1957 Volkswagen Oval-Window beetle. Now it is just 2 months later (March2005) And I am VERY Happy with my pick. Buying VW books such as, Haynes VW Manual, and John Muir How to Keep Your VW Alive, I am slowly Learning all about VW's.
I have been interestin in Exotic cars, vintage cars and all other kinds of Vehicles since i was a young lad. And to now own one is my greatest dream to ever come true. I saw my first VW beetle in 1998 and thaught it was the coolest car in the world. I never once thaught i would own one.
In July of 2004 I looked farther into Vintage VW's and found Messageboards for Local VW owners to learn more and meet people with them. I have had great help with finding a VW, and even more help with keeping them alive. Many of my friends drive vintage VW's (Not nearly as old as mine :-p) ranging from convertibles, Dune Buggies, Karmann ghia's and a mid 70's beetle.
