| My "new" 1986 Mustang L! I acquired this beauty October 1, 1999. I got it from a mechanic (I use that term loosely) friend of mine. He used it as a "get around" for the past few years. The original carbed 4 banger is still running, though it throws more oil out of the motor then it uses internally! I mean the engine bay and under carriage is literally covered with oil. As much as 2" in depth in some areas. The motor must not have a good seal on it anywhere! The guy I got it from had another motor sitting next to it at his shop, I sweet talked him into letting it go, seeing how he's a Chevy guy anyway, he had no good use for it anyway. This is going to be a huge project, but a fun one for sure. | |||||||||||||||||||||
