The Redliners Ice Rally Challenge is designed as a means to have fun with our vehicles in the winter, as well as to test our driving skills. This year we held our Ice Challenge on 2 separate courses.. The "Big Course" and the "Figure Eight" With winter being the way it is this year, the course was very challenging, the wind having polished the open areas of ice to a high level of slipperyness. Few made it through the course clean... by that I mean, didnt hit a snow pile or fall off the course. It was definately a challenge! The wind gusted to about 60 kms per hr, but thanks to Gary Halwas, Tim Zentner, and Lawrence Boziak, we had a nice snow wall built that kept the wind off of us and a big toasty fire to keep us warm. Also, thanks to Ron Halwas for braving the challenge and riding with the drivers to help guide them through the course and to keep score.
