Warped Tour '00 - July 19th - LaSalle Park

So another year of the Warped Tour has come and gone. But I can still feel the effects- ears have been ringing for 3 days now. So this year I went with my friends Lauren, Jolene, and Jason. We got there around 11:45. Some guy was sellin parkin spots for $3. So we figured "hey, why not?". Oh and thanx to that cute guy that let us though the traffic.. or we prolly would have been there for awhile. Alright, so the line went pretty quick to get in. They made Jolene throw out her chips :0( Once we were in we just walked around a bit and tried to find the freakin bathrooms...which they just like to hide in the corner. But anyways- you would never catch me in of those. Ya dont know what kind of anal infection you might get. Jason ran off with his friends.. me lauren and jolene walked around and tried to find some free stuff. We stoped by the MxPx tent and saw that they were playin at 3:15 and they were signing stuff at 5. We saw Kim and her crew watchin Millencolin. Stoped and talked to her, then walked around some more.. saw steve bobby and matt. Ran into staci and her crew later that day. Got some free stuff from the Epitaph tent. Me Lauren and Jolene went into The Might Might Bosstones crowd.. got killed- people pushing, feet upside the head. So we hadda get outta there cuz i couldnt even breathe people were pushing so much. Oh and thanx to that only nice girl in the crowd that helped us out and yelled at people to move :o) Then we went are seperate ways when Jolene and Lauren wanted to watch Papa Roach and i wanted to see MxPx. I was in the crowd all by myself.. near one of the extrances to backstage and right in front of a gigantic speaker. Mike looked really good!! Thats all i have to say. I was singin to every song that they played. And of course they ended thier set with Punk Rawk Show. I couldnt hear anything after that. So i found Jasont... he was at one of the smaller stages watchin CKY i think. Then me and him walked around for a bit, got some YooHoo. Then i got in line for the MxPx signing around 4:30 and told Jason to find me some more free stuff. Oh and your welcome Eric -for cuttin in line!! :o) I got MxPx's autograph.. shook Mikes hand.. didnt wanna let go though and then walked around a lil bit more with Jason until Bif Naked played on the Volcom stage. After she played (which was awesome by the way) I went to her tent and got her autograph :o) I liked her nail polish that she had on- it was like pink and sparkly. After that i went to see Long Beach Dub Allstars but was stoped by Steve so i just hung out with those guys for a bit. Then the lil shindig was almost over so we left. The only thing im mad about is that i didnt have any money to buy anything and I didnt bring a camera! :op Until next year... |
