GOOD ENOUGH
No matter what I say or do
It's never good enough for you
Though I try my best, it's true
That I'm not good enough for you
.
I hope you try, hope you fail
Hope you find a silent wail
Then you'll understand why I
Stay up late at night and cry
.
I wish that you could find the time
To wipe away the dirt and grime
Covering a heart of stone
Over which your hate has grown
.
Now at last you have your power
You've saddened this delightful flower
Longing for the day I'm free
To be whate'er I want to be
.
One day my heart wil not be blue
And I'll be good enough for you
That's the day my dreams come true
Cuz I'll be good enough for you
