THE EVILS OF CONFORMITY

I wish people would wake up and see
That they've lost their identities
They are mind slaves to society
Believe in their false piety
But it's a downfall in disguise
.
I see people all around me
Following society's dictates
They don't see what they're doing
Throwing away their true selves
Just to be accepted
.
Identity, conformity
Enemies 'til the end
Conformity causes one
To lose his true identity
Giving himself to the latest trend
.
Now these people, they really make me laugh
They're led around like sheep, with a staff
But who is the shepherd?
Not the one it should be
It's the media and oh yeah, Britney Spears
.
I can't help feeling sorry for these guys
They think that conformity's the best prize
But we can change their ways
If we just seize the day
And show them the way, truth and life
.
