The Ollie

1.Find a flat surface

2.Push a few times, so that you're rolling with a fair amount of speed. The faster you're traveling when you attempt the ollie, the farther you will go.

3.As you're rolling, position your back foot on the tail, and place your front foot near the middle of the board.

4.Bend your knees.

5.You must now simultaneously smack the tail on the ground, jump, and slide your front foot up the deck. (smacking your tail allows the front of the board to raise up off the ground, jumping allows your body to break the confines of gravity, and sliding your front foot up the board allows the deck to level out, thus raising the back of the board from the ground.)

6.Stay over the board. At the peak of your ollie you should be centered on the board, your knees bent again ready for landing.

7.When you land, keep your knees bent to absorb the impact with the ground.

8.Upon landing, your back foot should be on the tail, though slightly closer to the back truck bolts and your front foot should be directly over the front bolts.

8.There you go; now try ollieing up, down, and over things. Practice is definitely the key here.

Kickflip

1.You must learn how to do ollies first.

2.Ride at a moderate speed and do a basic ollie.

3.As you're doing the ollie, kick your front foot down, making the board flip.

4.Try to Catch the board, and level it out.

5.If you're lucky at first, you'll land and ride away if not: practice, practice, practice.

6.Once you've mastered the kickflip try it up, down, and over things.

Heelflip

1. Put your feet in the ollie position except have your toes hanging over the edge of your board.

2. Pop your rear foot down and bring your front foot over the side of the nose of your board, so the board spins in the opposite way of a kickflip.

3. While the board spins I think it helps to look at your rear foot instead of your front feet.

4. Land and roll away!

Pop Shove It

1. The first thing you need to do is give it a "pop" (Slam down on that tail.) Now "shove-it" around with your front foot so that the board turns a 180, but you stay in the same place. You ought to learn it standing in place first, after that you can attempt it moving forward.

2. You can place your feet in different positions for this trick. It all depends on you. Some put their feet sort of the way you would for a kickflip. Others put one foot about on the middle facing straight forward and the other facing straight forward on the tail.

3. Remember when you do it to jump forward.

360 Flip

1.Put your back foot flat accross the tail. Place your front foot in some type of kickflip position, but with your toes pointing more towards the nose at about a 45 degree angle.

2. Bend your knees, but try and keep your shoulders and upper body facing the direction your riding, it makes it easier to get the boad to spin the full 360.

3. Pop the tail. While doing this you'll need (1) Pull you back foot towards you, this makes the board rotate 360. (2) Kick your front foot almost straight out, this makes the board filp and helps it rotate the 360.

4. Let the board do all it's spinning and flipping. Then when your landing get your feet in the right position, because it's hard to land it good. I usually try really hard to think about pulling my back foot back while in the air, so then I land with the right balance. This could work for you.

5. And now you're done!!! Just keep trying until you have got it down good before you go out and tell your friends.
