| To get racing, first off i would buy a set of nerf bars, any companies would be fine. Also a good pipe and silencer, LRD, MX power Pros both of those are really good pipes for a blaster. Wheels and tires, a really good set up would be 18" turf tamers for the rear mounted on aluminum rims, for the front a set of grooved radials mounted on aluminum rims, you can buy both sets of wheels and tires from Nac's racing. A good air filter, is always a good thing to have to keep dust and other small particles out of your engine. Also maybe think about your intake system, other then your filter like your intake manifold or reeds and reed cage, a pro design intake manifold i have heard is really good. If you really want to keep up with the competition, invest in getting your motor ported and polished, also a shaved/ milled head. Sand blasting your cylinder and head will also improve your cooling. A rear hydraulic brake would be a very good idea, the stock blaster brakes just dont hold up and dont get the stopping done. Getting it wider will help improve the handling of your blaster very much, going with +2 a-arms will really help you corner, an extended axel will stetch out the rear and help as well. A extended swingarm will help a lot off the starts and give it a little better stability. A pair of aftermarket front shocks helps handling and bumps and jumps a lot, some good sets include, PEP, TCS, Custom Axis, but if money is a concern, works would be a good shock to go with, and the rear shock, this will help a lot too, but suspension gets to be pretty expensive, but its always nice to have. |
