Moon Lodge Healing Circles
in which women come together during their Moon
Time to share their gifts, abilities, and sisterhood.
We believe that in a traditional world, the natural
moon time of a woman would be on the New Moon,
and therefore offer this monthly Moon Lodge
Healing Circle, on each New Moon night.
All women are invited to attend, be they maiden,
mother, or crone. Menopausal and Post-Menopausal
women are the Elders of our female tribe, and as
such, have much they can share with the younger generations, as well as among themselves. We urge
you to attend and share with us all, the wisdom you
have gained in your lifetime.
This is a time to for Women to come together and celebrate. It is about attuning our bodies with Grandmother Moon.
It is about sisterhood. It is about sharing. It is about a
more natural way of living.
yet our wisdom is not recognized, not appreciated, not listened
to, nor heeded. Our world is made up of both female and male
components, yet our world doesn't use half of the knowledge
that we have available to us.
I feel that this is a large part of the cause of our environmental
damage, we are not respecting Mother Earth, because our own
Women are not being respected.
Crimes against women have cut her off from her connection to
Mother Earth. They have hampered our fertility, which directly
affects the fertility of Mother Earth. We, as Women, are not
healed, how can our own Mother heal?
Women are born with a natural connection to Mother Earth,
yet we are not using it as it was intended to be used. Grandmother
Moon is also a feminine deity, whom we have lost touch with.
Her gifts include our emotions and our intuition, yet we have
cut ourselves off from expressing our emotions freely, which
inhibits our other abilities, like our intuition.
By coming together on the New Moon, in celebration of Womanhood,
of Sisterhood, and re-learning to connect to both Mother Earth
and Grandmother Moon, we can begin to heal our own lives, taking
back the gifts we need to survive in this world, and learning
to contribute them for the good of us all.
In recognizing our importance to this world for the Women that
we are, we can assist in healing Mother Earth, in restoring both
our fertility, as well as hers. And by embracing our gifts, we are committing ourselves to continue to recognize and respect our
abilities, and learning to appreciate what we are, and that which
we have to give.
It is time to take our rightful place in this world. It's time for
women to use their gifts, and their voices, to help us all to
become balanced once more.

our connection with Mother Earth and Grandmother Moon.
