"Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good"
State Reunion Fiesta in Bay Area
On March 30, I attended the State Reunion Fiesta at Queen. Sisters
Annie Trusty and Nina Turpie were the coordinators. There were almost
300 people in attendance.
There was no room to squeeze another person in the auditorium. With the
help of Bro. John Pryor, they gathered up every available chair and
table in the building.
It was really a great program and food from the different states that
were represented by the chapters. We had praise dancing, solos and
Queen Adah's choir upset the place. That Sis. Harris can whip a piano
and oh can she sing! Our fantastic drill team also performed. I AM SO
PROUD OF THE CHOIR and the DRILL TEAM. My dream has finally come
true. We had people wanting to join the order to be on the drill team.
Now that's encouraging. This is our third year putting on this affair
and each time, it gets better and better. TO GOD WE GIVE THE GLORY!
