The Fifth Month

Caleb is really starting to show a range of emotions. He communicates his moods and needs in many different ways now. We're having a lot of fun with him!

Here are some of Caleb's stats and milestones for the month:

Weight: 19.5
NEW MILESTONE AS OF JUNE 13: Caleb's first tooth is peeking through! His bottom right incisor is definitely in, just shy of six months!
Caleb has graduated from the infant carrier to a real car seat now.
He's gotten really good at eating solids! Opens his mouth wide when eating (for Miyo, anyway, hee hee), and pushes almost none of the food back out!
Has "Happy Feet" when seeing Roger or Miyo for the first time in the morning. Pumps/kicks his feet really fast in excitement and smiles big to say "good morning!"
As you can see from the above, Caleb can sit up pretty well on his own now! With a Boppy pillow around him, he can sit up for more than half an hour at a time and play, watch TV or whatever.
Rolls consistently from back to front. Has yet to repeat his two instances of rolling front to back ...
Has added a "cheesy" smile to his repertoire!
Waves his hands in the direction of things he wants to ttouch. He's highly tactile -- wants to feel EVERYTHING!
Can pull himself up to standing position when hanging oon to Miyo or Roger's fingers.
Loves to balance on his belley with arms and legs off the ground.
Starting to show signs of "babbling" -- "ah, ah, ah, ah, ah" when "talking" to himself.
