After
demeaning many other programs for their scheduling of cream-puff games with
directional schools, what do we find on the Buckeye schedule, but the mother of
all directional schools
- Northwestern. Northwestern what? Are they too good to name an actual state
What does Northwestern have on the likes of Northern Illinois, Southern Mississippi, or Central
Florida? Certainly
not a better football program.
Does it count as directional school if the state itself is directional,
such as West Virginia, North and South
Carolina, North and South Dakota. To completely defeat the hypothesis that
directional schools are weak you need to look no further than possibly the best
team in the nation – Southern California. ? So much for the name game.
This is
another game, which should be a solid, perhaps even easy victory for the
Buckeyes. I keep predicting such and my
team keeps making me look like an idiot.
Just think a year ago we were all volunteering to drive Maurice Clarett to Evanston
for the NW game so he would not have to confront his fear of flying. Flying and keeping his mouth shut are the
only two things he seems to fear. Most
of us would still be willing today to drive the young man somewhere. We caught a glimpse of some problems to come
didn’t we, when #13 fumbled 3 times and alternated pouting on the bench and screaming at Tim Spencer.
Enough! I’m not here to write about players we don’t have.
I am
getting so sick of seeing the spread offense.
