About the photos

The photos have been cropped and stripped of pixels to make the pages load faster. If you ever want a copy of a photo for printing at a good quality, email [email protected] and be patient.

If more than one picture is sent of a player, I usually only post one photo of that player, unless one or two are really great action shots. If you have more, please email them. It would be nice to round out the teams with players who are not on the site.

FAQ Photo questions

1) Who takes the photos?

     I do when teams come to Coos Bay. Several teams have people sending in photos,
     which I post as fast as I can. Some of these people choose to remain anonymous,
     while others get credit on the website.

2) I sent in a picture but it hasn't been posted and it's been several days,
what's up?

     Could be a lot of things. Maybe I went to Pullman to watch some Cougar football, or
     perhaps I actually have some paying work that lasts a few days. But you should
     know that posting pictures takes time. I photo edit, crop, drop the photo in a web page,
     upload it to the mwlteams website, copy the image from that website and paste it
     into the mwlnow web page, then finally I upload it. Another strong possibility is that I
     moved your email into the wrong bin, so please email me and remind me to try and
     post the picture.

3) Why are there so many Pirate photos? Formerly, why are there so many Irish photos?

I live in Coos Bay now, I used to live in the Sheldon area.

4) Why doesn't my team have any photos on your site?

Only teams who provide regular recaps, scores, photos or stats have photos. It's called
quid pro quo.
