Message Board Upkeep and Posting
All block Message Boards are to be kept clean and neat. This means that any messages over one month old should be removed from the boards and also any out of date messages should also be removed (ex- a post a bout a party that has already happened). When a board is not free of old mail not only does it look cluttered but also it is also hard to load for many people on dial ups. This duty is to be done by the Block Leader. On all Message Boards there is a "configure" this area is only to be touched by the BL or ND without premission. The BL is expected to build there own message boards however we have Tech ND who specialize in this and are here to help you. All links must be approved by the Companion ND or the NL. It is suggested that there be no staff names on any Block Message Boards as the staff is subject to change. This information is provided on the information board and is kept current by Cybertown itself.
Posting
on boards is a easy way to communicate with not only other staff
members but residents and visitors. This lets everyone know your alive
and active. All staff members are required to do
posting. The following is the minimum requirements:
BD-
3 a week on block board, 1 a week on hood board, 1 month on inner realms Board
BL-
every other day on block board, 3 a week on
hood board, 2 a month on inner realms board
ND-
1 a week on each block in your grid, every other day
on hood board, 1 a week on inner realms board
Posting
can be about a lot of things events, idea, tips, contest, or sharing of
knowledge or talent. Although you cannot be terminated for not posting, you
can be terminated for not following assigned task or in activity. Posting is
one way for people to see what you are doing.
