Communication
As a staff member you should be available to assist fellow Cybertown citizens & visitors, that means you don't keep your house locked! You should always try to offer help whenever possible and appropriate, and if you can't answer a question then either redirect them to someone who can or seek assistance yourself. You are responsible for keeping your co-workers informed of your progress and commitments. If you are going to be absent for a short period of time that is not a problem, just let any of the staff above you know in advance if possible and appoint someone to handle things while you are gone. When you are planning on starting up a new project, experience difficulty in a particular area or have queries or questions you should get your superior involved. Never be afraid to ask for help. The only stupid question is the one that did not get asked.
Communication must be kept at all times between the chain of command. Therefore as member of this staff you must report at lest weekly to your superior and more often to those under you. If we all follow this guideline, communication is opened and maintained between staff members throughout the hood.
MESSAGES
Reply to every new message at your inbox every time you log in, also check your message board (MB) and reply to any messages that require an answer (sometimes residents need a reminder that only inbox messages are replied to directly at the sender's home).
The following should be checked every time you log in so you are kept up-to-date:
1. Your Inbox.
2. Your Message board.
3. Your Block message board.
4. The Neighborhood message board.
Additionally, you need to read the Inner Realms Message board often to stay up to date on colony wide items. You will find it interesting to read the Daily News & Weekly News (which you can get from the top of your Cybertown Window or via the Jump Gate.)
THE CONSTITUTION OF CYBERTOWN
As a resident and staff member you should be familiar with:
If you break any Constitutional rules, you will are subject to disciplinary action which can range from a warning to probation, to being fired immediately or even banned from Cybertown. Please read it carefully and occasionally check for updates. You should be aware of it and you should follow it.
RULES OF CHAT ETIQUETTE
Again because of the vast differences in culture and experiences across the net, a special "Code of conduct" or etiquette is required - please read the
