Seems as though the bubble sailors from the sub tied up just aft felt that the Mighty-Chi needed a new paintjob. So they left their mark by painting the white dolphins on the stern of the ship along the water line. I guess they don't get that much sun so they objected to USS CHICAGO being so tall and making them look so small.
What I think is ironic is that the 5th USS CHICAGO which is in commission today is a submarine. Was it a sign of the future? Hmmmmmm!
