Just as with any inhabited world the aspect of just one race of beings inhabiting it is very common. Human, Humanoid, Lizard like, or insectoid. All can inhabit a world at the same time. The world of Dragora is no different. It has found itself to be the home for many races. It would take me forever to name off each and every race or species or life on the planet so I will just name those that are a little more prominent as a lifeform and have demonstrated themselves to be more sentient forms of life or the more dominating life on the planet. The Bloodlines so to speak.
Llondraths
These are the Elfs of the world. Slim, Slender, highly intelegent beings with great magical prowess. Their ability to feel more one with nature tends to keep them from wanting to join with society, keeping themselves segregated as much as possible. There are many varieties of the Llondraths. Drow, Gray, High, Valley, Wood, Wild, and Dark. All are simular only in the fact that they are an elven race, yet each are completely different in the way they live, look, act, or get along with the other elves. They can be great Wizards or illusionists, they can make some of the best rangers, they can be great archers. Due to their ability to live longest of all out of the Demi-human races they have great experience behind their training. This makes them feel they are better than the rest of the races and a lot more areogant to top it off. Remember their way of life, if you are not an elf you are inferior.
Staltworths
The Staltworths are also known as gnomes. Very short in stature yet make up for it in their bravery and commitence to what they do. Being a distant cousin to the Drathmar or Dwarf they have some of the characteristics of their distant cousins. Like the Dwarf they have thier different types of gnome within thier race. These are the Mountain, Valley, hill and dark. Each has its own character abilities but for the most part with the exception of the dark, you cant tell them apart. To do that you need to study their lifestyle. Slightly magical in nature they can make interesting allies as illusionist. Some like to take advantage of thier smallish height and become thieves. Some prefer to be like thier Dwarf cousin and become a fighter showing thier heart is bigger than thier body.
Drathmar
This is a race of medium height stocky beings also known as Dwarf. Most average 4 foot in height but are as strong as any human out there. The Drathmar are expert builders and craftsman. Lovers of good food and drink, good conversation, and always ready for action. This makes them one of the best of the warrior races. Capable of fashioning and wielding the best armour and weapons made. What they lack in height they make up for in might. As with the other races the Drathmar also have different types within its race. Mountain, Hill, and Duergar. With the exception of the Duergar the others can only be told apart by thier mannerisms. The Duergar are an underground version of the above ground Dwarf and has a grayish skin color and do not even like the upperworlders which seems to be the general consensis with all the dark races.
Pecsma
This is the smallest of the Demi-human races. Hobbits, half-lings. They go by many names. Great lovers of food and drink. Pecsma's tend to take advantage of their height and become thieves. They can be excellent at this and some even go the one step beyond and become assassins. The ones that do this feel that stealing a life is much harder to get away with. There are 3 different types known thus far, the Stout, hairfoot, and tallfellow. They can be somewhat timid and shy but they can also be great friends and allies. Somewhat magical in nature they can be magicians but tend to leave that job to the elves. Some become great healers.
Tallworths
This is the human race. Capable of learning any trade. Undergoing any profession. Likes to believe that they are the better of the races and tend to try proving that the other races are inferior. They can be quite excellent within any field profession. Magician, Fighter, Healer, Thief, etc. are all equal in thier ability to accomplish what they want to learn. However most humans only learn one profession and excell in it. Those that want to excell in two or more tend to find it much harder to be good in both and usually spend most of thier life in this attempt.
Dracs
This is the scaled races on the planet. There are different types each unique as a lifeform. This is one of the oldest forms of intelegent life on the planet from the lowly pseudo to the great wyrm the Dracs have been a race that is honored, feared, hunted, and admired. Not all are magical in nature but those that are usually become expert in the field. Some fly some do not. Each type of drac has a different form of defense. At one time they roamed the entire planet but with the appearence of humans and demi-humans their numbers have dwindled. Drac's are looked to as gods among the other scaled races and even by some outer races. Ranging in height from three foot to over 100 foot. Some out for revenge against the human and demi-human races have built lairs near them so that they can attack them and hord their treasure.
Dractites
These are the scaled races that follow the Dracs. They come in different forms such as Troglodites, or lizardmen, yet all live to serve the Drac's. Forming laired communities and not typical society type living they become more adapt to becoming rading parties and armies for the Drac's. Intelegence is there but not in great abundance. That is left up to their leaders. They typically do what they are bred to do.
Snarlfaces
This is a humanoid type race that most just call Orc's. Somewhat human type bodies with boar like visage. Very powerful as a warrior race yet intelegence seems to lack a bit. They feel that Dwarves and other short races are ment to be slaves to them and tend to try to enforce this rule. The orc can be found anywhere on the continent. Even in Drago. They fear no one. It seems that outside of enslaving the Small races, their sole purpose in life is to be warriors and join whatever army will let them serve. Mannerisms are barbaristic and animalistic.
Gigantas
This is the largest of the humanoid races. They range from 10 foot to 30 foot or more in height. Once the great force of Poughlara now just a fraction of them remain on the Island continent of Felogoran. Some have tread the waters and oceans to other lands but most live on what is left of thier land in an effort to repopulate and grow strong once again. There are many types of the Gigantas. From to Simple Hill, to the simpler Stone, from the Warlike Fire to the powerfull Cloud and Storm. The Gigantas have only one thing on thier mind and that is the survival of thier race.
These are just a portion of the races you can find on the world. I did not mention any of the unique races or underwater races such as Red Dwarves or Aquatic Elves, Lycanthropes, half-races like half-giant or half-elf, half human-half animal like the Minetaur or the Centaur. These are also sentient beings on the world. Some deserve some sort of recognition yet they are to few in number still to be considered a world power just yet.
