Welcome to the Family Origins page of my site. Here you will get some tips on how to form your family tree. There will also be some links here to help aid you in getting the information you are looking for. I really don't know of anyone that wouldn't want to know more about their family history.
(Step 1) Get a starting base. Start with you, your brothers, sisters, Parents, and your Grand Parents (both sides of family-fathers and mothers). This is your starting base. Your tree has begun but its still just a seed so far. Now it starts to grow.
(Step 2) Now add your Mothers brothers and sisters along with their spouse's. Now add their kids (your cousins). Do the same with your fathers side of the family. Hmmm. Branches have grown on your tree.
(Step 3) Now on your mothers side of the family ask your Grand Parents who their mother and father were (your Great Grand Parents). Also any brothers and sisters of your Grand parents and thier kids and so on.
By now your tree should look something like this:
Now all you have to do is see just how far back you can trace your family and how many names you can aquire. What ancient secrets will you find out about your family. Are you related to someone of importance now or was one of your Ancestors famous, a king, a knight of the round table. Only by tracing your families roots will you be able to discover any of this.
