Here are a few more pictures of the ship in her final days at San Pedro California in 1996 I believe it was.

Starting at the top. Even after all those years of non-service the big Mac Radar was still looking to the skies. Next we see a large part of the ships forward stack after being cut off and sat on the pier, The symbol of Excellence still showing. Next is another picture of the ships bridge this time without the Stack attached and other chunks taken out as well here and there. The next picture is one I thought never would happen. CIC from port to starbord in the light of day. Then finally one last look of her moored pierside awaiting the end of an era.
