PowerPoint Presentation on the Continental Drift Theory

This was my first taste of PowerPoint.  I can see that it is a terrific presentation tool, and I was amazed at how easy it is to use.  I think my presentation was pretty good, but there are lots of bells and whistles I would add given more time to work on the presentation.  I included it in my portfolio because it is such a neat tool.

PowerPoint presentations can be used in a variety of ways in an educational setting.  First, if you are presenting something at a faculty meeting or convention, this is the way to do it in an eye-catching, interesting manner.  Teachers can also use it in the classroom to present their lectures or for Open House.   PowerPoint presentations are far more exciting than overheads (and more versatile to boot) because you can easily include graphics and pictures copied from the internet.  In my opinion, any kind of presentation would be enhanced with the use of PowerPoint.
